1. RESPONSEBILITY
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (09.30.07)
This is no surprise, a part of this pproblem comes from publications like Ynet ,that constantly publishes negative articles about the religious jews living here. Besides that zionism is based on secular principles and hates anything to do with religion. So these things are just a logical result of the constant brain washing that is going on since the start of zionism. The zionists have robbed the people of their most presious inheritance, the Torah.
2. Vile people
Aharon   (09.30.07)
I'm not religious by any standard, but I realise that in the Jewish state, having religious Jews is about the most natural thing that could possibly be. If these people are caught they should be deported.
3. Response to # 1
Sagi ,   Israel   (09.30.07)
Israel is a democracy and one of the foundations of a democracy is freedom of speech and expression which means a free press. You don't like what they say, don't read it or respond in an articulate intelligent fashion. Zionism is not based on secular principles. Zionism is based on the fact that our land, Israel was conquered, devastated and stolen from us by the Romans and subsequently colonized by people who had no connection to this land. Zionism is based on our heritage and our history. Zionism does not hate anything to do with religion. Secular Zionists built this country and made it into what it is today. Haredim, and I make a distinction between them and religious folks in general, had nothing to do with building this country, on the contrary, they cause social division and strife. It is the Haredim who cause ordinary Israelis to hate religion. We. the secular Zionists, love our country and are prepared to die for it. Haredim are a negative influence in our society, they are foreign to Judaism and have nothing whatsoever to do with our heritage and our history.
4. #1 If stupidity were a disease you would be a terminal case!
Adam ,   Ramat Gan   (09.30.07)
Firstly, I think that 99.9% of YNet readers would agree that YNet is not responsible of supporting/encouraging/promoting neo-Nazi activity. These are probably most likely to be ex Russian immigrants who are young, male in their early twenties and late teens and despite their in bred anti-semitism, have come to Israel "for a better life" as Russia is a decaying hulk of a former superpower with nothing to offer. As they are in a Jewish State and anti-Semitism is their goal, they could go after anyone. Like the original Nazis they will go after a minority. For them it is easy to go after the religious as they are generally at the weaker end of society; no army training, little physical exercise etc (this is a generalisation of course). The religious are also for more visible as Jews and to the neo-Nazis must be far more justifiable and satisfying than to go for than an average sabra. The Nazis will also tend to pick them off when they are in greater numbers than their quarry. These neo Nazi incidents will continue as long as Israel is lax on its screening process of these 'Russian Jewish immigrants'. I am an Oleh Chadash but I am neither Russian nor religious but I am a Zionist and love Israel. I am sure that when go to Ulpan there will be many Russian immigrants who dont give a fuss about Israel and are just here for what they can get and got in because their grandfather, a self hating Jew, turned his back on his religion, joined the Communist party and married out and to a family with strong, Cossack anti-Semitic roots...
5. This Phenomenon Is Getting Out Of Hand.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (09.30.07)
It should be clear by now that this is not an isolated incident. No purpose is served by premature finger-pointing, but obviously something must be done to investigate the source of this problem & deal with it in the most severe manner. Of course, knowing the way our gov't. dysfunctions, rather than dealing with this problem in a decisive manner, nothing much will be done. Knesset members will make the obligatory speeches of outrage & then go back to sleep while others will seek legislation that serves their own agendas but does nothing to accomplish anything much.
6. #1
Logic ,   Israel   (09.30.07)
Read again what you wrote. You sound like all the anti-Israel people who post on Ynet.
7. NAZIS IN ISRAEL ???!!!
stephane ,   france   (09.30.07)
it's not the first time that i read about russian gentiles who lives in israel and afford themselves to attack jews like they were used to do it in russia !!! from the government and the justice of israel i expect NOTHING cause they are nuls; but i don't understand how come israeli men don't counter attack these bastards ??? why israeli don't organize themselves in groups to attack these nazis everywhere in israel ??? why you don't break their heads ??? how come in the country of the shoa survivors, nazis can attack jews, vandalize synaguogue without being beaten by all the city ??? thank you to publish me because it's very important: ISRAELI HAVE TO WAKE UP !!!
8. The Danger becomes the Safest Place on Earth
j.sherri ,   Israel   (09.30.07)
Just before Moshiach - all of the evil rises for their last finale. It's short, it's putrid and it's our time to shine like never before. Chag Sameach!
9. Possibilities
Sagi ,   Israel   (09.30.07)
If any Russian immigrant is found guilty of Nazi sympathizing or anti semitic activity in any way, one must be his fate, immediate deportation to the country from whence he came. If the culprits are indigenous Israeli youth they must be charged and sent to jail for twenty years as a warning to others. This punishment must be meted out no matter what the motive, hoologanism, anti religionism or any other. On the other hand it would be wise to bear in mind that the police are usually powerless to counteract Haredi anti secular activity which is usually violent in nature and almost always accompanied by the Haredim using epithets such as "Nazi" or "sheretz". Life is never a one way street.
10. deported!
adi ,   ramle   (09.30.07)
all such group should be send back from where they are... enough of such things in our jewish country///
11. NO PITY FOR THEM! Do they realize they're gonna be catched?
Gideon   (09.30.07)

12. 1
Igor ,   Munich,Germany   (09.30.07)
wow! someone who has a clear a view and is not brainwashed by zionist propaganda!:) you really live in Judea? I fully agree with you!
13. 4
Igor ,   Munich,Germany   (09.30.07)
dude, somehow you are generalizing all Russian Jews. I am one of those and I have to admit I am critical toward Israels foreign & defence policy, but it doesn´t mit I hate this country. I have no idea of Judaism & all the holy stuff, but I still consider myself as a Jew. Both of my parents are Jewish. And you´re not totally right about Russia, it´s not such a poor country, in fact many Russian Jews are even returning from Israel back to Russia. What can we get in Israel? Many of those Russian Jews who went to Israel also had the possibility to move to Germany & the US, why didn´t they do it? Because they want to live in a Jewish state, because they are Jews! Not for a better life. The living standard in Germany & the US if by far higher than in Israel! you´re generalizing stuff, that is stupidity.
14. Suspects
Dima   (09.30.07)
I can already tell you who they are. They are aged between 12-18. They are from FSU, they came to Israel when they were 8-10 together with their parents. They never considered them selves Jewish or had a close Jewish relative, the family moved only because of economical reasons and not because of the love of Israel. Because of that the family made no attempts to integrate into the Israeli society.
15. a case of vandalism
jack bauer ,   deport'em now   (09.30.07)
I don't see why there aren't a couple of cops watching any nazi like groups to make sure they don't cross the line. This is not a case of free speech. It is a case of vandalism. It seems to me there is an agenda that seems to want to make a law. The more cases like this that hit the headlines the more likely that will be pushed through. But if you could ban groups that think like fascists, you'd have to ban most of the people living in the middle east. Hopefully the idiots that vandalized holy places will be found and charged. I hope that they may be eligible for deportation once they have criminal records, although lets face it, the govt. lets murderers out all the time (as long as they are not jews, which I suspect the vandals are not either) it also seems to me that most of the idiots defacing graves and synagogues cant even make the swastika properly. Apparently they aren't even good nazis
16. Get them and hang them
Johnny ,   Stockholm, Sweden   (09.30.07)
There is nothing to discuss.
17. Time to take matters into our own hands
Ari   (09.30.07)

Adam ,   Ramat Gan   (09.30.07)
My comments were a generalisation. I am sorry that you see them as unfair, but you dont live here and dont see the way that A LOTof Russians abuse the system. The reason why 'Jews' from Russia come to Israel instead of Germany and the US or any other developed, Western nation is the fact that Israel is a soft touch. Try to get into the US or a Western nation; its very difficult. You and your family succeeded into getting into Germany; factors in your favour - Germany guilt and wanting to ressurrect a German Jewish community. Germany is one if not the fasting growing Jewish communities in the world. The reason - Russian Jews. No other western European nation would let Russian Jews in like Germany - the Germans still feel like they have blood on their hands. (Their charity wont last forever). A lot Jews still dont like to even travel to Germany on holiday as it makes them feel nautious, so why would them want to emmigrate there? Especially if most of their family had been wiped out by Germans? (I personally like Germany and the German language. I cannot forgive the unforgiveable or forget the unforgettable but I am willing to move on). A way to get into Israel from Russia; say you have one Jewishgrandparent or even great grandparent, say you couldnt pursue your faith because of communism and your definitiely going to get in. I am sorry to encircle true Russian Zionists/Jews in my generalisation but that is what a generalisation is. Russia is decayed with Communist era run down facilities and ideas as well as inherent anti-Semitism that is in bred for centuries. If Russia is such a good place than why do you not go back and make a life for yourself over there than live in the comfort of Germany. As for your knowledge of Israel, maybe you should read some books about how Israel came about and the history of Palestine and the fact that before the Zionist came on the first, second and third Aliyahs from the end of the 19th century onwards, 'Palestine' as a madate and under Turkish rule (wasnt even known as Palestine then) was a backward, poverty ridden hole where the Arab inhabitants and their Turkish overlords did nothing to improve their own lives. Read about how after a lot of Jewish help in exchange for promises from the British were made (Balfour declaration) that 78% of what was known as the Palestinian mandate was turned into TransJordan, now Jordan. Read how Jews turned this land from swamps and deserts into farms and cities. Also read about the attrocities of the Arabs - 1929 Arab riots and the Arab riots of 1936-9. Read about how the British Army was flooded with Jewish Palestinian volunteers whilst the King of Egypt refused to give the British one soldier to prevent Rommel's advance and the pro Nazi revolt in Iraq during the war. Read about the unprovoked attacks on Israel in 1948/1967/1973 - with the Arabs hellbent on the destruction of the world's only Jewish state which is about the size of Wales or New Jersey. And have in the back of your mind that if the holocaust was ever to happen in a country ever again, then Israel would be the only place that would accept you without reservation or credentials as a Jew. If Israel had existed from 1933 then millions of Jews would have survived. As for Russian 'Jews' returning to Russia. Maybe the fact that Israel full of Jews is repugnant to them (sic) I admit its a hard life over here but Israel has a problem that in its willingness to let Jews in, it hasnt got the infrastructure to absorb these people in one go to all the cities, its not big enough and the economy is not strong enough to do it. This is why they return to Russia or maybe they just love the harsh, biting, Russian winter...
20. #3 Please stop bashing the Haredim!
MARK ,   USA   (09.30.07)
The Haredim are a part of Israel and must always be a part of Israel. I am a Secular Jew who loves all Jews and Non-Jews!
21. We must adhere to "Never Again"
MARK ,   USA   (09.30.07)
I always felt Israel was the only place a Jew could feel truly safe in the entire world. Now that is no longer the case. These neo-nazi groups must be funded by neo-nazi groups in other countries who want to target Jews specifically in Israel.
22. #1 and #3 - You are both wrong
Chaya ,   Bat Yam, Israel   (09.30.07)
Anti-Semitism has never been because of any specific reason - in times past we were: Communists; Capitalists; Religious Fundamentalists; Secular destroyers of faith - take your pick. As long as we continue to blame each other, this phenonemon will continue!! We have to unite to destroy this as well as Islamic Fascism which threatens the whole world!!
23. Stop Making Excuses For Them
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (09.30.07)
The Israeli government must act quickly and make an example of these morons and others of their ilk. They must learn that there is a steep price to be paid for their disgusting behavior and they have forfeited their right to live in Israel. If possible, deport them.
24. there is also a big CRUSIFIX painted near the front door...
(09.30.07)
25. Stop them !!!!!!!!!!
Sara ,   Tel-aviv   (09.30.07)
The state should deal with these issues severely so that the rest of the world can see that never again we shall suffer the evil consequences of prejudiced hatred against us !!
26. To Sagi
freejay ,   Israel   (09.30.07)
I see you are spewing your anti haradi crap again. Your hatred towards your fellow haradi jews is ignorantly disgusting and blinds your judgement severely. You need to realise what neshama is..........you seem to lack it! I am not religious, but i can clearly see that its the seculars in this country that are giving land, guns and prisoners away to our enemies, not the religious or rhe Haradi!
27. Underhanded Justice
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (09.30.07)
Heaven knows, I strongly believe in law & order, but sometimes it seems that meting out a little surreptitious justice of one's own would discourage this sort of thing. In other words, don't go to the authorities who don't appear too interested, don't go to the press who only give these hooligans publicity; just make sure you have the right people and then teach them some manners. Tattoo a yellow Judenstern onto the foreheads of these disgusting trashbags, turn 'em loose and let them get a taste of their own medicine. If that's a bit much, just find them, beat the hell out of them, strip them naked, coat them from head to toe with a nice layer of spray paint and then let them go. Even if they catch whomever did it, the penalty for spraypainting peckerheads can't be too bad.
28. To #3 - Totaly wrong on both counts.
Yitzy ,   Montreal, Canada   (09.30.07)
There is 'freedom of speech' and there is 'hateful incitement ' . What Israel's left does constantly to the religious Jews is simply put - hateful incitement . This is clearly the result of continuous hateful bashing of Jewish customs etc. Even in the US and Canada we don't see such consistent hateful articles aimed against the religious Jews and their customs as we see in Israel. As for Zionists, there is the belief of Zionism and then there are the Patriarchs of the Zionists. Its a fact that the Patriarchs of Zionism dreamed of a secular Israel free of the 'Shtetel Jew' and Judaism. No wonder that early Zionists joined anti Jewish groups in communist Russia , collaberated with Nazis, and handed over Jewish fighters to be hanged by the British. Is it then a wonder that this could happen to a synagouge in Israel ??
29. Let Olmert handle it.
ephraim ,   diaspora   (09.30.07)
All these talkbacks that say "the State must do something" should realize what would happen if they do. First they would give them support in all the means of life, give them money, surrender land to them so they would have a place to live and launch rockets at you, then they would give them part of Jerusalem as a capital and grant them statehood. Time for a change Israel! Take back your government, return to Torah, Put faith in your Moshiach! Look to HaShem for your help, not to the ungodly nations.
30. #24
Ephraim ,   diaspora   (09.30.07)
So what is your point? It is the same hate filled souls that did the damage. Are you suggesting that Christians did it? Perhaps you did it. Quit trying to spread hate. You are poisoning your own society. The hand full of Jews who hate Christians are themselves full of vile contempt for the love of HaShem. True Torah observant followers of Yeshua HaMoshiach know how to love and ask nothing in return. True Messianic Jews want to love you, not convert you. We pray that the spiritual eyes of both Christian hating Jews and Jew hating Christians will be opened and that they will do Teshuva. Then no conversion tactics will be necessary. Only HaShem can bring one into proper fellowship with Himself and with all men.
