1. Military Advisor more like it
Bill Baloney   (10.04.07)
It's going to be interesting to see how the US government manages to screw this one up. We probably won't know for a few years. All the best intentions backfire and go awry.
2. Who To Hit First? Hezbollah, Syria, or Iran?
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (10.04.07)
Poor Mr Bush - decisions, decisions. But as he said himself, he's the "decider" - Personally, I think hitting Iran first is the best decision. This would seriously weaken both Syria and Hezbollah. Assad might not survive the destruction of his only ally. It would also force the Shi'ite gov't. in Iraq to make concessions to the Sunni (a key Saudi request) which might create temporary conditions for an American withdrawal. It would also weaken Hamas - so it fits into American plans to bolster Abbas. It would also be a reminder to Russia that America does not want them in the Middle-East. So, talking about Lebanon is kind of a side show - it pleases the French, it plays well in the media, and it pleases the Sunni states. Of course, there is the added advantage of eliminating Iran's nuclear weapons program.
3. We can also say Mr. Pres. don't mess in Israel either.

4. deeply concerned about foreign interference ?
Marcel ,   Florida   (10.04.07)
How noble of you Mr.President to be so concerned. You have no problem meddleing in the internal affairs of Israel dividing her land for your false peace ,rewarding Israel's enemies with land that is not yours to give. You tell Israel's leaders to release terrorists from prison ,you provide these same terrorist with weapons and training and millions of dollars as a reward for their actions. You demand that Israel remove every Jew from their ancient homeland for you personal vision . You call for Israel to remove security road blocks to make it easier fro the Islamic terrorists to get around. You never miss an opportuinity to punish Israel and reward the Palestinians for their actions. And yet you are concerned about foreign interference up north ,you phony ,arrogant hypocrite
5. Is that why you have a marine landing force off the
Shiloh ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.04.07)
coast of Lebanon! Medling in others business is your specialty Bush. Since when did G-d decide you are the official world spokesman? Every company you attempted to run went only one way, down the tubes, so now running the largest country, who would expect a different result with you, the CEO of this one? I suspect the same will happen. Especially since you like to direct Israel on it's business.
6. BottomLine:: Sooner or later, Shias rule Lebanon !!
KMR ,   Middle East   (10.04.07)
7. "We expect Syria to honor that demand"
AVROHOM BILGREI ,   ZION   (10.04.07)
YOU DONT HONOR A DEMAND ! YOU COMPLY WITH IT ! "The international community must work more quickly " TRANSLATION: MY TENURE IS COMMING TO A CLOSE,I HAVE NOTHING TO LOOSE, I NEED TO SECURE A POSITIVE LEGACY FOR MY SELF SO THAT HISTORY WILL VIEW ME AS A "ELDER STATESMAN" IN A POSITIVE LIGHT ! THE SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT FEES DEMAND IT ! IT'S AMAZING HOW THE PUBLIC ACCESSABILITY TO AN EX PRESIDENT INCREASES EXPONENTIALLY WHEN THERE ARE FISCAL RAMIFACATIONS ! THE QUESTION ARISES AS TO WETHER OR NOT THE QUESTIONS WILL BE PRESUBMITED AT THE PLEASURE OF THE SPEAKER ? YOU'D THINK AFTER 7 YEARS IN OFFICE WITH THE BEST PAID ADVISORS (IN SALARY/PRESTIGE) HE'D "GET THE DRIFT" OF PROPER WORD USAGE AND OR PUBLIC SPEAKING ! I MUST SAY ,IT(HIS CAPACITY TO COMUNICATE) IS POWERFUL, IT MAKES ME CRINGE !

Don't you see Putin and China will protect their oil ally Iran against Bush ? Didn'y you hear Putin and China warn the U.S. THEY'RE READY AND THEY DO MEAN BUSINESS AND WE ARE SITTING DUCKS. How Babylon has fallen ,in one hour. Have you heard of the Sunburn cruise misslie which Iran has to esliy drop evey one of our Carriers ? This is not going to turn out the way the proud proud proud Americans think it will. Before the dust settles ,israel will be seeking Hashem becasue America will no longer be a player . Moe   (10.04.07)
only two things to say to both of you morons....i'm happy you'r both so concerned about whats good for my country..BUT....Bush take care of your mess you created when you "decided" to bring democracy to Iraq, also try to keep your senators and justice department from practicing too much democracy(senator craig looking for male love in a public bathroom, while justice lawmaker Atchison(sic) was caught going to florida to have $ex with a five year old girl)..And mr Hariri,i think you are delusional...you are not actually lebanese...just a saudi billionaire who took power guising under Rafic hariris name...no one is sure you are his son,not even your brothers and step mother you threw out of Late hariris home just a week after his death....so just politely...bug off..no one buys that kind of crap anymore...

12. USA to Syria.
AR ,   USA   (10.04.07)
You cant interfere in the politics of your neighbor and ancient part of your nation. But the US a country thousands of miles away who has done nothing but interfere in the politics of other nations all over the world usually bringing about negative results for the majority of the people in those countries. And the US can send a military expert to lebonan to turn lebonan against syria and other nations in the region (except of course for israel) This is not gonna work. Israel couldnt defeat Hezbullah so how can this "expert" do anything. They cant even control Iraq or Afghanistan how are they gonna defeat an organized and battle hardened militia like Hez? Which has majority support in Leb?

thus earning some right to sit on their high horse and interfere with the worlds petty dictatorship governments.
15. BUSH:Syria stay out BUT I'm sending a military commander in?
Harry ,   Kansas   (10.05.07)
16. Bush
Richard ,   London UK   (10.05.07)
OK let's dispense immediately with the sheer hypocracy of the whole US 'don't intefere' warnings whilst their armies are stomping all over the Middle East. We all know that the US demands of others what it doesn't adhere to. But could Bush actually have a point here? Surely helping Labanon from reverting back to Civil War is a good thing. A democratic Lebanon is a must. The only danger, of course, is that anyone who has the backing of Bush is immediatly discredited.

Are you smoking that hemp rope again or do you have a hard time reading and understanding ? Sadly ,so many dumbed down American's glued to the idiot box can't seem to get past the mind numbing trash. Go study some more.
18. #14, you expect people like AR...
DR ,   Florida, USA   (10.05.07)
to actually read and study world history and then apply it to modern issues? Are you carzy? These people want nothing to do with facts and history. They only want what their imams tell them to want. Remember regardless of what has happened in the past, the US and Israel are big Satan and little satan...that's all we need to know.
19. #12 AR, the Hizbullah cheerleader
DR ,   Florida, USA   (10.05.07)
Does AR stand for Arab Retard? You still have this delusion that Israel somehow lost to Hizbullah. How come Israel can fly over Syria then? How come Beirut still lay in ruin?
