After Iraq, I'm not so trusting of government decisions on wars. I need some reassurance. One of the ways this might be achieved would be for people in the government to make personal, large monetary contributions for any wars that are seen as preventative and necessary. While not as good as them actually serving in a war, it still fulfills a leadership role.
