1. What's the problem?
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (10.23.07)
We'll wait until there's a major tragedy & then shell some empty fields with artillery fire. Then Olmert will make a speech saying we are dealing with terrorism. Then some of his stooges will write articles saying there is no military solution while others will say eventually we will have to deal with the problem. Then our politicians will hope we forget about it until the next tragedy. But the truth remains that we take no action, partially because we are hostage to a failed peace process & partially because our gov't. is paralysed & afraid to make any decisions. We are governed by fools.
2. Israel is allowed.
(10.23.07)
Why Israel is allowed to target strategic facilities in Gaza (bombed the water pumps and electricity/power stations), while others are not allowed to? ... double standards. It will get you nowhere. In the last sixty years Israel failed to gain security, and will never succeed. You are slow learner, we are very patient, eternally patient. You are leaving this region sooner or later. Just watch.

Israel is wonderfully secure in spite of your wishful thinking that it isn't. Did Hezbulla advance one meter into Israel during the so called war? We've had no suicide attacks etc etc. recently and everybody with the exception of the residents of Sderot is happy and the economy is booming! The kassams are a nuisance but mostly like a sticking a needle in an elephant. The roads here a far more dangerous than terrorists! Young children (9-10) here can be left in shopping malls for hours without a worry. Something which is not possible in many cities in the US and Europe. At least you made me laugh - thanks!
5. i really hope next time they will not miss
waiting for big boom ,   in ashkelon   (10.23.07)
and it will fall on some EMPTY but important building and then all of us in TLV will panic and scream for gov to do something and maybe, just maybe the gov will grow some balls and kick some ass...oh wait...at that age balls dont grow any more... oh well...i guess more power to Hamas
6. enemy terretory

I wonder what ever happened to the declaration of the DM Barak or for that matter the Kenesset that they have adopted that the terrorists entity called Gaza is Hostile territory and all services will be terminated if there is even one single Rocket, Mortar or Bomb fired from Gaza. I can understand the hesitancy of a large segment of Israeli society in adopting Jewish religious practices, but the Torah is replete with many other aspects of proper human behavior. I will mention just one that fits this situation, “Motzay Sefesachu Tishmor” translation, Respect the Utterances from your lips. If you have no self respect just why do you think you deserve the respect from any other person, just what qualifications or believability do you think you have by others that they should place their life or future into the hands of someone that has no hesitancy to utter false promises. Since the declaration that Gaza is Hostile Territory, not ONE single day passed that Israel Proper was not subjected to hostile acts from a hostile territory. I guess Israel is being led by the nose like a bull to the slaughter house from powers that have personal agendas non of which is in Israel’s favor.
