Firstly we wish the Rabin family our condolences. However, if we look objectively at what mr Ben Artzi claims, his analysis is so flawed. The extreme left, to whom his late grandfather surrendered control of Israel, has created a situation of a phoney peace, of increased terror, and the deaths of thousands of Israelis at the hands of the Palestinians. Rabin claimed there woudl be "peace" within 9 months of his election. Over a decade has passed, and Israel is being attacked by missiles, and is not even bothering to respond. In fact, the very "partner" which Rabin and Olmert are making love to, ie Fatah, almost assasinated the current PM. This would have coincided with Rabin's anniversary. Yet, Mr Ben Artzi wrongly claims the extreme right are the enemy within. He, and all of his good family can be forgiven , becasue of their terrible grief. However, their grief is not of a higher currency than the grief ot the thousands of families who have lost their loved ones as a direct result of Rabin, Peres, Barak and Sharon's Leftist policies. And to take the position of democracy and yet monopolize the politics of grief is sheer hypocrisy.

Enough of the hyping of this assination for political reasons. It disgusts me to see this mans death being waved about as a sabre against all forms of oposition. The fact is that if this young man did it, he acted alone out of his own ideology. If it was a sinister conspiracy, then the truth should be uncovered before sweaping statements are made. Either way, the formation of a cult and branding of groups who have no connection to this young mans choice to break the law, should not be lumped in some disinformation ploy by current politicians. In a democracy people should not be given special space just because they are sons or grandsons of famous people. So let us remember that this young man's grandad had no problem to shoot on Jews in the sea from the Altalena ship and that he was giving away Jewish Land with a knesset majority smaller than the Arab vote. Pushing the issue to the extreme, the Jews of Israel in general and Ben Artzi in particular prefer a Jewish state or a democratic state? Let us also remember that Rabin was against the creation of a Pali state and against giving away Judea and Samaria. If anything his grandson should draw attention to these forgotten aspects of the Rabin thought.

The Extreme Right must be stopped! To ensure freedom of speech, anyone who does not agree with Ben-Artzi must be jailed or killed as a terrorist. To ensure freedom of press, any publication of any opinion with which Ben Artzi does not agree must be censored. To ensure democracy, we must stifle any dissent from the crazies who do not agree with Ben-Artzi. We must set up camps to detain anyone who disagrees with Ben Artzi from walking around practicing terrorism. We should expand the Yassam and Shabak to handle the terrorists properly, just like we started in Amona. We need more Avishai Raviv's. If we don't, democracy will be paralyzed.

I think the problem is the double standard of the Left. Arab's who murder Jews are given preferential treatment to Yigal Amir. The best example is Samir Kuntar. This guy crushed the skull of a 4 year old girl, yet the Left let him get married, have two children and wants to release him. Other murderers for which the Left has mercy and even admiration are Barghouti and Arafat. For the Left the only "monster" whose release can never be considered is Yigal Amir. It is the Left's personality cult of their "Rais", the fact that the life of their great "Guide" is worth more than anyone elses which is irritating.
