dante ,   uk   (10.25.07)
nice gesture. one would like to believe that it is sincere. but, the sad fact is that the mufti of Jerusalem, the father of the p.l.o., did as much as he could to encourage and to assist the germans during the war. he helped them raise two muslim ss divisions. he was an enthusiastic and unabashed advocate of genocide.

Frankly speaking I've never heard about Palestinian embassy in Poland. Poland does't have an ambassador in Palestina, the nearest one is in Israel.
10. "Palestinian" Grand Mufti visited while it was in operation
Rob ,   UK   (10.25.07)
--------- "The Mufti was one of the initiators of the systematic extermination of European Jewry and had been a collaborator and adviser of Eichmann and Himmler in the execution of this plan... He was one of Eichmann’s best friends and had constantly incited him to accelerate the extermination measures. I heard him say, accompanied by Eichmann, he had visited incognito the gas chambers of Auschwitz." - Adolf Eichmann's deputy, Dieter Wisliceny ---------- I don't see any apology in the article, when are the "Palestinians" going to accept responsibility for their leader's actions?

The PLO has had an ambassador in almost every conceivable capital, not to mention the UN. Somehow I don't think that their activity is in any way connected to what one would normally call diplomacy. Call me paranoic, but this visit doesn't look "kosher". I sincerely hope the PLO amabssador wasn't trying to obtain some first-hand knowledge for how to deal with us when their dreams come true. And yes. Kozik, you are right, although PLO ambassadors are all over the world, no one has an embassy in Gaza or Ramallah. Strange world.
12. And so what ? For those whe doubt
Hiram ,   Paris   (10.25.07)
Yes, of course everyone knows about the 3 SS Divisions manned by Moslems ( Including SS div "HANDSCHAR" in Bosnia. Everyone know that the Muft was a buddy of AH and his bunch of murderers.....but for G...sake give this man a chance . Denying the sense of his visit would be same as saying that all the Turks refuse to recognize /ackmowledge the Armenian holocaust.....Is nt there something in the Torah about recognizing the righful ? Were all Germans nazi ? Did all the Brits approve of English domination in India ? Dont be so upperty ! Talk with your brain instead of you fingertips !
13. WHY??!!!
Christy ,   Boston, US   (10.25.07)
Why would the PLO's ambassador do this? Has he had a change of heart about driving Jews into the sea and "re-claiming" Palestine? Doesn't make any sense. Can't figure out what's behind the visit except some positive PR in the Western Press for the visit.
14. HajAmin visited Auschwitz&was great colleague of Eichmann
Alan ,   SA   (10.25.07)
Maybe the Pals Ambassador was looking for some Tips on handling of Jews. BTW Kazik -Pals have Ambassadors all over World.
15. I don't know what to make of it
David Hudec ,   Praha, Czech   (10.25.07)
On one hand, this would be nice gesture made by a private person towards the Jewish people. I am encouraged by it. But coming from someone supposedly represent PA, the timing & circumstance look fishy. It does not seem right for this man to do it now. Maybe if and when there is peace in the region, then this visit will speak louder and make sense.
16. EXCELLENT POINT, HILDA. THANK YOU.
SETTHERECORDSTRAIGHT   (10.25.07)
THE ANSWER: THE STATE OF PALESTINE DOES NOT EXIST. I WOULD LOVE TO THINK THAT THIS VISIT WAS A STEP FORWARD FOR THEM, BUT, I CANNOT HELP BUT HAVE THIS SICK FEELING THAT THIS, ER, 'AMBASSADOR' WAS ONLY THERE TO GET IDEAS.
17. hopefully he wont say anymore that jews should all go back

18. The sob should come visit Gaza
Salameh ,   Gaza, Palestine   (10.25.07)
He is a clawn employed by a bigger clawm, paid by the clawns abroad!!! he is sorry for that and not sorry for his own people living like inmates with no resources? I wonder what position he has in mind Ereikat's or Abd Rabbo's?
19. Peace is possible
Jorge ,   Mexico City, Mexico   (10.26.07)
If there is a will for peace, it is possible, Now, I talked to a number of so called rabbis here, they did not even agree to discuss the subjet, saying that "it is written" that arabs and jews will never have peace. Carzy, but true
20. Oslo agreement
sabra   (10.28.07)
.was signed between PLO and the state of Israel ....as a result Rabin was assassinated by a terrorist who still ( with many others) denies the existence of the palestinans ..PEACE comes thru dialogue acceptance of others good will for living in peace with mutual respect for the sufferings caused by a non-stop war
21. to #11
david, israel   (10.28.07)
No one has an embassy in Ramallah... Well number of countries have there representative offices to the PA. They're not called embassies only because Israel would freak out... check the facts before you write something.
