After the PN guy on my bus home from TA -with his clipboard and camera- was half way through his ride to Jerusalem, I hope he learned something about location. I hope that when i said that PN shows no loyalty to its own people he heard. I hope that when he saw how normal the people getting off the bus are, his view of the "settler" normalized. I hope that he really heard me when I said that in Israel, we have big minds- but too many have hearts bigger than their heads- and for the wrong side! ( that shocked him!) I don't even bother to read articles that start off with, "Peace Now says ...". They, similar to Olmert's daughter who spies on Israeli soldiers and his two sons that are hiding from the IDF in the US are to be despised. Whether or not settlements expand has no bearing on whether or not there will be peace. If Peace Now spent half their time studying and issuing reports on the Palestinians, the we might have a chance for real peace. The unfortunate unwritten motto of Peace Now is "peace at any price", which we all know is no peace at all. Let's see a Peace Now report on how the Pals are adhering to their obligations under the road map. The problem is that the Pals would interpret such a report as an attack on them, and then they'd boycott Peace Now dinner parties, leaving the Peace Now people inviting only themselves to bilateral events.

If Israel makes a deal with the Palestinians, it will take action on the settlements as needed. Why is there a need for Peace Now to engage in hysterics before there is any deal? Its behaviour seems to be more of acting on a personal grudge than anything else.

Make up your minds. Either you live in a country of law and order whose cirtizens abide by that law and order even when it is extended into a corrosive occupation or you do not. Life would be less complicated if Israel formally annexed the W Bank, but it hasn't and it won't. So its either law and order or settlers making fools of the rest of us Israelis, and so far they've been doing well at fooling us all. Except Peace Now who know the truth and tell the truth. Decide - tell the government to annexe the W Bank and all this will stop. If not, don't be so wilfully blind to the consequences.
