31. IS IT TO DO WITH THE QUANTITY OR THE LEVEL?
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (11.08.07)
We were given to understand that it was the enrichment level that was the worry...........am I right? So why is the number of centrifuge being 3000 causing such an alarm?Didnt an authentic article earlier on suggested between 4500 to 5000 before the end of 2007? Frenzy state of affair I am afraid.....or is Israel planning solo act on Iran? It better refrains from doing so..........DR,what do you think?
32. Muslim Solidarity
Tyne ,   USA   (11.08.07)
Chief Mohammed' action is another strong evidence that regardless of what it is, Muslim is always for Muslim. He has proved that the myth of Muslim Solidarity to against All else is true. We can never trust any Muslim. Bye Bye Mohammed!!!
33. ER DER, you forgot something;
Christian ,   Hungary   (11.08.07)
, & to set the example for man(& woman)kind. Sort of 'Now people, try and figure out this next problem . . . .' At least that's how a Rabbi once explained it to me.

35. biggest fan
lee ,   canada   (11.08.07)
I dont think Israel cares about the 99 per cent of the world who believe that without them there could be be peace in the middle east. Its the 1 per cent of the war proffiters and wealthy freinds who finacne thier war on all things not Israel. As for the IAEA Isreal should just shut up, are the a signer in the NPT? Have they openned up to inspections? Hypocrytes!!!

there's a difference here... Israel never signed the nuclear non-proliferation treaty. Iran did. Iran broke that treaty with this secret weapons program. And furthermore, Israel has had Dimona up and running for a long time and knows that it is a strong deterrent when facing insane people like Ahmadinejad. Israel seeks to preserve life, the extremists like Ahmadinejad seek to destroy it... Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, (you know, that army supported fully by Iran) said it best... "We have discovered how to hit the Jews where they are the most vulnerable. The Jews love life, so that is what we shall take away from them. We are going to win, because they love life and we love death." That is the type of enemy Israel faces. When the rest of the world wakes up and finally understands how insane they are, maybe THEN we can find peace.

you're insane... if you really think Israel is the reason why there isn't peace in the middle east you should read a little bit about the Shia-Sunni dynamic... they murder each other more than anyone else in history! You're right, Israel didn't sign the NPT... but you know what.. IRAN DID!!! And they lied about secretly having a nuclear program for decades. Now... do you trust the honest person who has only ever defended his existence or do you trust the dishonest one calling for the destruction of others? It's a simple decision. The problem here is the Muslim ego. Muslims cannot understand how a tiny state like Israel, full of 'Jewish infidels', can defeat their massive Muslim armies repeatedly if they have the superior religion and follow God's final law, etc... There's just one problem with this... and no offense to Muslims, as I have many Muslim friends who I speak about all of these things with many times... But... If God is perfect... why would God need to keep recreating laws? Wouldn't God have gotten it correct the first time? Again, no disrespect, people are free to believe what they like... but there's some irony to it all.
38. Israel's Tired Old Canards no Longer Work
Lev Bronstein ,   Moscow, Russia   (11.08.07)
The perpetual victim status of Israel no longer works and the tired old canard of the UN being anti-Semitic only incites laughter and jokes in international circles. Israel today sits in violation of more internatinal laws than Iran, has its own clandestine nuclear weapons program that it hid from the world, refuses to sign the NPT or allow IAEA inspections, recently attacked a sovereign neighboring state and is threatening to use nuclear weapons on a country that is merely developing peaceful nuclear power under IAEA inspections per NTP guidelines. Israel is once again just trying to start an international incident to use an excuse for continuing its illegal occupation of the West Bank and Gaza (yes Gaza is still occupied even though the illegal settlers have been removed) so it can expand more illegal settlements and to complete its genocidal plan of slowly ethnically cleansing the Palestinians from their eternal homeland. The ending of Israel's illegal occupation of the West Bank and Gaza and freeing the Palestinians from40-years of Israeli oppression and Apartheid is far more important to the rest of the world than Iran having a peaceful nuclear power production program ever will be, and bellicose Israel's recklessness is only proving that the EU poll was correct in that Israel is the biggest threat to world peace.
39. Like all Egyptians He Loaths Israel / Jews
EgyptianJewRefugee ,   Geneva, Switzerland   (11.08.07)
I grew up in Egypt. He is an Egyptian who like most Egyptians hates Jews and Israel.
40. ElBaradei
Michael ,   S. Pasadena, USA   (11.09.07)
I think it's time for IAEA to call for UN sanctions against Israel, demending it opens all its nuclear facilities for international inspections. If it refuses UN should apply complete embargo against it, arrest all its accounts worldwide. If this does not help an invasion force to assembled.
41. ElBaradei is just doing his job
Coptic   (11.09.07)
ElBaradei is just doing his job. Israel has no right to attack him, because Israel is not a member of IAEA. The first target for Iran will be the gulf state and not Israel. Coming from 200 nuclear head country it’s very funny. ElBaradei is very secular raised by a French maid and spent most of his life in NY. If you don’t like Egypt this much don’t write Egyptian Jew there is still Jews in Egypt and they are the Egyptian Jews not you.
42. I fully greet Elbaradei
Ibrahim ,   Egypt   (11.09.07)
Elbaradei is not working alone he works in a big team work , people from different countries and nationalities....this means the decision of IAEA is not only in the hand of Egyptian guy.......but represents the international community.....I am not surprised I know the israelis will accuse him coz he is an egyptian.....so I give my advice for Elbaradei go a head and dont believe that israelis liars....the liar we saw it before in the war of Iraq.....they have started the same shit and propaganda and finally nothing else.....so if I am Elbaradei I will form a committee to check also the israel nuclear reactors and I face the international community if they are interested to talk about what we call the free world....plz Elbaradei nobody stop you..I know the israelis work on the tune of antisemtism so much ....it is the way of deception.......ignore them completely...you must be fair...and use the same standard for all people equally....without any political pressure.....I am proud of Elbaradei.
43. Of course he's no fan
Myron E ,   USA   (11.09.07)

44. #42 - like 39 said.
the world   (11.09.07)
45. Mohammed the Idiot?
Michael ,   London, UK   (11.09.07)
As a fellow Canadian I am disgusted that another fellow Canadian could write such an ignorant ill informed comment. 99% of the people do no share such sentiment. Islam is one of the largest religions in the world, so it is not possible for 99% people to not trust any one with the name Mohammed (also learn how to spell). Second, the IAEA Director General and the organization are recipients of the Nobel Peace Price 2005. Look it up. While you are at it, look up his details on career, education and charity work. As a diplomat and UN Official he can not be 'for' or 'against' any country. Israel, who has not signed the NPT, who does not allow inspections is in no position to judge any other nation on it's nuclear programme. Two years ago, the nations of the middle east proposed a nuclear free weapons zone...guess which one didn't support it. Do your research before you write inane, embarrasing comments. If you recall Mohammed 'The Idiot's' Nobel Prize recipient speech he called for an elimination of all nuclear weapons.
46. Keep cool!
sebastien ,   Autriche, Vienne   (11.09.07)
Dear all, As you may understand, there are several issues behind the facts and their interpretations. First, each country representative acts in order to stay in business, whether or not the population benefits from this. Second, since more than 5 years, claims have been made that Iran would get a nuclear weapon next year, and it all turned out to be false. Third, inspections by IAEA has been extensive in Iran, by far more than in any other country, which should be a proof, as it was for Irak. Fourth, put yourself in M. Mohammed El Baradei place before judging him. He is supposed to give a factual interpretation of the situation, rather than to comply with any governements position. He has been blamed by the US for Irak and proved to be saying the thruth. Trusting this guy may not be worse than trusting war-oriented-weapon-businessmen! Best regards Sebastien
47. Mohamed,... the great!
sebastien ,   Austria, Vienna   (11.09.07)
Sorry not to agree with such a title "Mohamed the idiot" 1/ Check on the who's who before making comments of this sort. 2/ M. El Baradei has a huge education, partially in a pretigious university in the US. He entered the Agency with a full support from the US, reniewed for his second mandate, and even for his third one - although theUS were not happy with his Irak report. For his third term, he got a full support by all the member states. Check on internet! (I did) 3/ He is extremely tolerant, behaves honestly -- chek the journalitst own comments about him, and does not get intimidated by political pressure. Would you blame him for that? 4/ hope everybidy would be as brilliant as this guy! Best regards Sebastien
48. hey #47 have you ever heard him have a conversation?
jack bauer   (11.10.07)
all the schooling in the world couldnt buy this idiot a brain
49. I fully greet Elbaradei
Ibrahim ,   Egypt   (11.10.07)
Elbaradei is not working alone he works in a big team work , people from different countries and nationalities....this means the ultimate decision of IAEA is not only in the hand of Egyptian guy.......but represents the international community.....I am not surprised I know the israelis will accuse him coz he is an Egyptian.....so I give my advice for Elbaradei go a head and dont believe the israeli liars....The liar we saw it before in the war of Iraq.....they have started the same israeli propaganda liar and finally nothing else.....so if I am Elbaradei I can face such accusations by forming a committee to check also the israeli nuclear reactors and shut their mouths up... if the international community is interested to talk about what we call the free world they will impose sanctions if the israelis refuse.... Elbaradei plz nobody stop you..I know the israelis work on the tune of antisemitism so much ....it is the way of deception.......ignore them completely...you must be fair...and use the same standard for all people equally....without any political pressure.....I am proud of Elbaradei.
