The word 'politic' has its linguistic root in the Hebrew/Phoenician verb: POAL. This is the word 'verb' in Hebrew still. It means 'act'. In England legislations is referred to as 'Acts'. This because we know they involve consenus on course, modes and methods and respect for actions of people in society: the polity.
Of course Hamas will seek to dominate the West Bank. How else will they get their Islamic type state together!
It's time to start talking about demolishing the refugee camps. They should become 'towns' in the State of Palestine. And the work should be funded by the international community. These camps are the places where armed struggle is being born and bred.
This is the way to focus attention on the very difficult issue of return of Palestinians from refugee camps in Arab countries. Only a small fraction of them will get into the State of Israel. The vast majority will go to Palestine. Moreover, turning the camps into towns would also be the strategy to be followed in those countries: Jordan, Lebanon, Syria.
Too much talk of peace and not enough substance of peace.
Pull your socks up international community. The alternative is more war........... and HAMAS.
AMEN
