Two site of worship and prostation to God before the birth of the prophet Muhammad were mentioned in the Quran. Al-Aqsa mosque and the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. both built by Ibrahim and his children. al-Aqsa mosque has been a site of continuous worship and has been used by the Israelite prophets too. this has been mentioned in the Quran and the destruction of al-Aqsa mosque twice has been mentioned in the Quran too. If you mean the Jewish Temple, the Masjid of Jerusalem, that has been mentioned twice in the Quran, then where is the problem. Muslims the first thing they did is to reconstruct the Temple... Hence, the 3rd Temple you mention has been reconstructed by a Prophet of Allah 1400 back and this contradicts none of the Israelite prophecies who according Quran were Muslim prophets.... Today there are not artifacts left from the Masjid that was constructed by Abrahim, and his children, and reconstructed by Prophet Suleiman. When Muslims took the site from the Romans and from the Arab Christian Patriarch Sophronious, it was a trashed site and used as a dumpster.... It has been restored to a Masjid again which has been called in the Quran al-Masjid al-Aqsa.. today it is called the Noble Sanctuary too.

These are facts: Jerusalem is never mentioned in the book you consider holy. Masjid al Aksa, the furthest mosque, mentioned in the Qu´ran from a text dating in 621 could never be the structure built on top of the Temple Mount, simply because it is historically recorded that they´ve been built by the Umayyads of Damascus in 688-691 in the context of a power struggle with the Caliphs of Mecca. When Hamas took over Gaza and Abbas became Olmerts new best friend he canceled the Mugrabe Gate bridge project even though this is simply building a permanent bridge to replace an unsafe temproy structure and the waqf tried to turn it into some kind of attamept to pull the mosque down. That project though has been cancled thanks to Olmert wanting to do anything for Abbas and now the only way Israeli police or soilders can get up to the mount if needed is either via an unsafe temporoy bridge or through muslim areas. Israel is not comunicating with the waqf becaiuse the politicians are to scared to get into any kind of confrontation with them because they are worried it will lead to more terror so they let the waqf carry on illigaly digging and destroying jewish archeology. If anybody is trying to try and change the status of Temple Mount here its the waqf who are trying to get rid of all traces of jews ever having their temples there.

The historical references are fully verified through archaeological finds, historians accounts, and documents and accounts from cultures across the entire area; NOT just the Jewish accounts. It is absurd to claim that the Jewish temple was not constructed on the Temple Mount. In fact, I dare say such denial borders on mental illness. Following this, WHAT sort of mentality freely acknowledges the right of the Muslims to possess unquestioningly their most important holy sites, Mecca and Medina, and simultaneously claim that in all fairness, the Jewish people should be denied the heart and soul of their faith in favor of a tertiary mythology that is NOT EVEN MENTIONED in their own documents or history? Or ANY other history, account, or even mythology. In WHAT way is that not anti-semitic?
