1. These people are not Israeli
Secular Eagle   (11.22.07)
All these "pilgrims" clearly show where their hearts lie. They're Ukrainian, not Israeli.
2. What a waste of money.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (11.22.07)
This money could be used for many worthwhile projects here in Israel. We have no shortage of people who need help. Instead, religion is perverted to promote sect-like behavior which is basically foreign to Judaism. This is an obscene use of resources by people who have lost sight of the true objectives of religion.
3. With all due respect for rabbi, I am puzzled...
Jonas ,   SAD   (11.22.07)
How on Earth can a MAN promise that other people will be SAVED FROM TORMENTS OF HELL (G-d's decision!) if they visit HIS burial site? All respect to Nachmanides and his teachings - but this borders with avoda zara!
4. Breslav = 50M $ / year income
Nora ,   Tel Aviv   (11.22.07)
With all due respect, his remains should be transferred to Jerusalem or any other respectful place in Israel ,adjpoining a Commemorative Museum containing all the names of the Jews that lost their lives at Uman during the Cossack Pogrom.

6. Wow !!!
Michael ,   Haifa   (11.22.07)
sounds like an even better deal than Voodoo in Haiti

Will you decide it ???
9. Would you visit your father in the cemetary...
gedaliah   (11.22.07)
Well for arguments sake, I can guess that Rabbi Nachman is a bit more known. He wanted to be buried in the place he was buried. End of story. Let people spend their money where they like. If its to fly to uman, then let it be. If you prefer to buy a video IPOd, that is also okay. Lets not make this a religious bashish session please.

You couldn't be more wrong. Are you seriously suggesting that visiting outside of Eretz Yisroel makes one "not Israeli"? ALL the Breslover Israelis I know ARE Israeli, and I resent your comments on their behalf.
