Not only do the Palestinians want a state for themselves in the West Bank and Gaza. They also want to send millions of refugees into Israel to finish it off. Is this something that the Arab mentality is not capable of understanding? Why on earth would Jews accept this? HAMAS represents the greatest threat to Palestinians that there ever was. The more Qassams and terror the worse it will be for Palestinians (especially in Gaza). The terror and actions of HAMAS de-legitimizes the cause of the Palestinians and adversely affects ALL Palestinians. Since their Charter uncompromisingly calls for the total destruction of Israel, they are not a viable political bargaining power. Since they are engaged in terror, they are not entitled to financial support for EU, USA, Israel, or Arab nations. Their takeover and murder of Fatah in Gaza, cost them their seat in govt. Unfortunately, we inherited Olmert when Sharon was incompacitated (although it is arguable that Sharon is still more capable than Olmert in his current state as he does no damage). The lesson is that of Intifad II which moved the Israeli voters to the right and the terrorists succeeded in making Sharon (PAL's worst nightmare) the PM. What we need NOW and badly is an extreme escalation of terror and Qassams from HAMAS and Gaza. Just like Intifada II which will cause a serious resurgence of the far right and replace worthless Olmert with a more powerful and capable PM. This is necessary to quickly replace Olmert with someone responsible at the bargaining table (who won't give away everything for nothing). On the other hand it is also good for Palestinians. Tangible progress in Peace Talks with WB can bring about serious changes, improved quality of life for PALs in WB, and ultimately prove HAMAS was the worst enemy of the PAL people as Gazans are left behind in the process. Money will flow to WB creating jobs and economy. They may normalize economic ties and trading with Israel and beyond. Tourism with rebound. Logistics issues connecting the 2 disjoint geographic parts of PA are no longer an issue and Gaza will have to play catch up to WB as they see their brothers proper and they suffer. Only extreme stupidity could allow HAMAS to win a second election since they did not deliver on anything they promised and they made things considerable worse for Gaza in every way. We have HAMAS to thank for this. So HAMAS keep it up. With you help it will be us destroying you and not what your Charter states.

It was the Palestinian Arabs who began the massacres of Jews in 1920, 1929, 1936, etc. It was Haj Amin Al-Husseini who collaborated with the Nazis seeking the extermination of Jews. It was the surrounding Arab nations that attacked Israel starting several wars. It was the PALs who walked away from the bargaining table with an offer of 100% of Gaza and 92% of WB. It was PALs that begain the hijackings of airplanes in 70's and terror against civilian populations. It was PLO that was thrown out of Jordan and Lebanon. It is PALs that are kept in refugee camps and not allowed to integrate in Arab countries because the are trouble makers. It is HAMAS whose charter uncompromising calls for the destruction of Israel.
