The use of the word 'eliminate' does have clear conotations; eliminate is to kill, in large numbers a group of defenceless people in a similar way one would 'eliminate' a pest. According to the dictionary it means sl. to murder in cold blood. This is very different to what happened to the Nazis. They fought to the bitter end.

read and then reread very carefully a history book. One written by a very well known british writer. the title is Europe at War 1939-1945 No Simple Victory......and the author is Norman Davies it is written by a genius, and he is a very impartial historian specializing in eastern front stuff, which for a westerner is not an easy subject to research. He makes over and over the point that war is dirty, and there are never any moral sides to a war. I think that the most surprising part of the book is the countless instances where it is obvious that the soviets occupying ukraine and all the other SSR's before the nazis and then again after them killed far more people.....this goes unmentioned through the mainstream history lessons. as for those calling for the elimination of hamas.....
