David   (12.05.07)
Naysayers be damned, we are extremely fortunate to have an American president that truly sees our perspective and understands the dangers that we face. Unfortunately, the American people no longer do, I'm afraid.
32. Re: Rafi in Haifa (17)
David   (12.05.07)
You think Zionism is equivalent to terrorism? Fine. What are you doing in Haifa then? Why don't you just pick up your bags and leave Israel so that you can stop "terrorizing" the Arab neighbors? Better yet, why don't you try moving to an Arab country? You would fit perfectly there.
33. Israel and the US are both wrong
Frank ,   Canada   (12.05.07)
All the iranian issue is dealt with according to the point of non-return. However, it seems that nobody knows when this point will be reached. This approach is wrong, since a nuclear Iran will be a major threat, the required steps must be taken immediatly to stop this program.
34. Don't worry, if they restarted the weapons program
US   (12.05.07)
it will be reported in our intelligence assessment report of 2011. We'll email you.
35. #11. The world in certainly NOT against Iran.
Persian CAT   (12.05.07)
There are a handful of countries who don't like an independent Iran. There are only two countries that do not have embassies in Iran. Not long ago 108 countries members of the Non-Aligned nations passed a resolution supporting Iran's right to enrich Uranium withing the IAEA authorized limits. Iran's relationships with Arabs in the Persian Gulf has never been better. Iran's relations with Turkey is excellent - that's has not been usually the case. All Latin American and Asian countries have good relation with Iran. So please don't let the Zionist spin that Iran is alone even enter your thoughts. Now ask yourself how many countries have embassies in what Israel claims to be its capital, Jerusalem? Zilch, nada, sefr, hichi. Now let's see who is the rogue nation. Remember those who are occupying, killing and terrorizing people on daily basis like to call others terrorist hoping their crimes will be washed out by the constant noise making. Don't let yourself to be fooled my friend.
36. Jerome, you don't know that.
Persian CAT   (12.05.07)
You're regurgitating what you've been told. You don't know for fact that Iran had anything to do with the Jewish center bombing in Argentina. There are Argentinian Jewish journalist who have been presenting evidence that the bombing was an inside job. But it is politically convenient to blame Iran. Hebzbollah''s attack on the incompetent Israeli army which led to capturing the soldiers was in response to constant Israeli attack in Lebanon. Iran did a great service to Lebanon by helping Hezbollah to defeat the IDF. Nothing wrong with that, is it?
37. #20. How could you be sure, if you are thousand of miles ...
Persian CAT   (12.05.07)
away eating ice cream? You are simply regurgitating what the liar-in-chief want you to believe.
38. 11 - An "average" Iranian?
Tahl ,   Israel   (12.05.07)
Judging by your English, as well as your impressive political orientation as witnessed by your impressive spiel - you don't look too "average" to me. You seem to me more like some slick Iranian PR person. Furthermore, the average Iranian would probably not be so supportive and condoning of his rogue dictator that oppresses him and his liberties so much, and threatens his safety. Whatever you may be, average or not, many of your comments are simply rediculous. "[the UN] is a world that has depicted Iran as the devil" - bring me a handkerchief, I'm moved to tears. The UN treats Iran with silk gloves, in comparison to the gross distortion it does to Israel's image. Which is hardly surpising, given that the "UN human rights committee" is pretty much controlled by Muslim states. "for the last 250 years Iran has not attacked any country... There has been no Iranian involved in any terrorist attacks in the past...." - Oh really. Then what do you call the 1992 bombing of the Israeli embassy, and the 1994 bombing of the Jewish center in Buenos Aires? "Iran does support Hizbollah, but Hizbollah only and only fights inside the borders of his country" - Oh really. Then why has the Hizbollah invaded and provoked Israel on numerous occasions leading up to the war they started last year - after Israel had already withdrawn from Lebanon? By the way, the UN that you hate so much, enabled the Hizbollah terrorists to kidnap 3 Israeli soldiers, by means of the inane UN soldiers simply shutting their eyes and playing dumb. "...against foreign military personnel and never against civilians" - Oh really. Then why has Hizbollah fired thousands of rockets into Haifa, Naharia, Kiryat Shmona, and other Israeli towns, clearly to target civilians? While the IDF made surgical strikes, and dropped flyers on Beirut, urging civilians to get out of harm's way. Only your noble Hizbollah FORCED the Lebanese civilians to stay, cynically using them as human shields. And why has your country supplied Hizbollah with so much long-range rocket and missiles, clearly to be used against CIVILIAN targets? "Iranians are not building an arsenal to threaten their neighbours or any other country" - I don't suppose you actually believe this nonsense, do you? "a [zionist] regime that discriminates against non-Jews and is, therefore, racist." - actually, Israeli Arabs are regarded as equal before the law, and enjoy a standard of living superior to that of most Arab nations, great health care services, generous social benefits, civil rights and freedoms you wouldn't dream about in any Arab or Muslim nations, certainly not yours, and have elected representatives in the parliament. Hardly "racism". Tell me, what would be the fate a Jew in your country, who would dare say one-tenth of the criticism against his government, than an Israeli Arab (like Tibi or B'shara) can say here in Israel? "paving the way for the US to destroy another nation, to kill and to torture Iranians..." - I hardly believe the US wants to kill and toture innocent people anywhere. Just make sure you are not nuclear. I too, wish you only the best - which includes living in peace, in a democratic country with basic human rights, which are so far, quite deficient in your country. (Especially if you're gay, just ask your prez...)
39. To Jerome, France
An Average Iranian ,   Iran   (12.05.07)
The Argentina bombing wasn't Hizbollah. They have denied and condemned it. A court in UK has refused handing the Iranian diplomat to Argentina because there was no evidence of Hizbollah/Iranian involvement and the Argentinian judge accusing him was found to have accepted bribes regarding the case. Yet, the case is still open! Hizbollah did arrest Israeli soldiers, emphasize 'soldiers' inside Lebonan. That is not terrorism. It is defending one's country. Would a country not arrest foreign soldiers inside his borders? Are you really blind to the reality or are you just pretending hoping that a few fools fall for your lies?
40. You cannot trust Iran

bilderberg   (12.05.07)
Clearly Bush is allowing Iran to arm. makes perfect sense. if iran nukes israel, then the west will galvanize to war, paving the way for the New World Order.
42. #26, GOOD!!!!!! We intend to keep it that way!
Rick ,   Hartford, US   (12.05.07)
43. You can´t trust Americans either
Shir ,   Finland   (12.05.07)
Israelis should learn to survive without any help from the US and perhaps re-evaluate the status of americans as your "friends". Let´s remember, there is nothing worse than people who portray your friends and then betray you in the worst way when you need them. Let´s face it, Jews have no real friends in the world. This is unfortunate, but true. Oh and in case you did not know, most Iranians living outside Iran, especially those who live in Europe, do support their leader and nuclear program. Iranians are doing everything they can here to convince people of Ahmadinajad´s "peaceful intentions". If you think only their leader is evil, then you really must be naive.
44. I have to wonder
Shir ,   Finland   (12.05.07)
Why is it that israelis think Iranians are these poor creatures oppressed by their leader? I watched news yesterday and they, once again showed one arrogant Iranian man smiling and stating that all Americans should now apologize to Iranian people and their President. He was just a regular streetwalker, a common Iranian. I see men like him interviewed on a regular basis by Finnish media. And then I see Israeli people FEELING SORRY for them. It is unbelievable. Iranians are your worst enemies, don´t you get that. They are not some poor victims of their leader, many of them support him. Iran has supported Hamas and Hizbollah for decades, long before Ahmadinejad became the president. It´s not just the leader, it´s the people. Americans don´t get that, cause they think immigrants in the US represent Iranians in Iran, but I wonder why Israelis are just as naive.
45. #38
invicta ,   Europa   (12.05.07)
I love this line of reasoning: you wrote Then why has the Hizbollah invaded and provoked Israel on numerous occasions leading up to the war they started last year - Provoked, that's it! just like the Vietnamese provoked the US to pour chemical weapons all over them, or how the Poles provoked the Germans to invade. the soldiers were captured by the way, not kidnapped.
46. ISRAEL SHOULD NOT WORRY
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (12.05.07)
The twists and turns on the subject of Iranian progress was unneccessarilly exagerated by the Bush administration right from the early days of Iraq's invasion.Having been exagerated too much,Bush had to find a way out of this self-made blunders and thus the report by the Intelligent units in USA.The world may witness better understanding between USA and Iran in the present Iraq and may be to some extent thaw in relationship between USA and Iran.

Tahl ,   Israel   (12.05.07)
Hizbollah PROVOKED Israel in many occasions after Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon in 2000. You want to know more details about these provocations? No problem: - Infiltrating into Israel, kidnapping and killing 3 soldiers who were patrolling the Israeli side of the border (under the open eye of inane UN soldiers). - Shooting and killing an Israeli soldier at a watchtower. - A terrorist group infiltrating into Israel, going a few km inside, ambushing a bus, shooting and killing 7 Israeli civilians. - Attempting to infiltrate into Israel for a terrorist attack, in the Druze Rajar village. - Infiltrating the border again, again kidnapping two Israeli soldiers patrolling it (and I stress, kidnapping, NOT capturing - as the Hizbollah terrirsts crossed the border to Israel), thus starting the last war. And there probably have been some more occasions which had slipped my mind. Is that provocation enough for you? And your comparisons to Vietnam and Nazi Germany are unbelievably stupid and outlandish. If I were you, I would shut up now.
50. Israeli Intelligence Self Serving and not Remotely Credible
Lev Bronstein ,   Moscow, Russia   (12.05.07)
Let Barak or the Mossad present their proof that contradicts the finding of the United States and the IAEA inspectors or put and end to their bellicose babbling designed solely to lure the US into attacking another peaceful Arab state. I think the US, after being tricked by Israel in to attacking Iraq and wasting billions of their treasury on a war they can never win, has little trust in Israel these days and is beginning to recognize Israel as the hindrance to US interests in the region that it always has been. This report confirms that while the Zionists have clearly infiltrated the Bush Administration, they have not been successful in planting their moles in the intelligence side, which is a very good sign for my American friends. The people of the US are as a whole a decent and generous people who should not have to be associated with the people of Israel whose rudeness selfishness and arrogance are known the world over, so I hope that in the future they can distance themselves from Israel and once again embody the values and principals that made America such a great nation.
