the reason israel would fall apart is because someone near to the majority of the idf is religous, and for sure in the elite units the majority are. also, who would there be to protest against the government giving away any more land if the religous werent there... they would give away everything if there wasnt anyone to stop them and in general the religous of israel make israel what it is, gives it its unique flavour and atmosphere.

We should keep together (and in war seculars and religious jews will stand together!) and should try to shift israels position on the settlements. we have a good argument after the gaza catasthrophe and even many seculars are against giving up judea and samaria. and: We religious jews are growing faster than secular ones. we will have the majoriy not so far and can then annex judea and samaria.
