stolen land? In a report earlier this week, a senior Israeli IDF officer boasted that following their new deployment in Palestine, his troops were able to confiscate a total of 180 dunum of Palestinian land and homes. An Israeli reading this report would think: Look at that, Olmert is starting to put the house in order. But let’s wait a moment. What do they mean by “confiscated?” What would a US military officer do if his people seized stolen land in Iraq? We can assume he would call his counterparts in the Iraq military force and hand over the land to them. However, US military “confiscated” the vehicles. In other words, the US government is short on land in other countries, so it confiscates stolen land to meet its own needs. Up until yesterday, the land would be used by the persons who stole it, or by the government who bought it from the thief. As of today, this land is being used by the Bush administration. hmmm not sure if this article is loaded with propaganda!!!??? Seems the way it's written above is accurate too. take a look... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8656756697574815390 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mo2HW4T7wK4&feature=related
3. No surprises here
Eliyahu   (12.08.07)
Recently, six cars were stolen from my town. Even though we knew exactly where the cars were, the police said they didn't have the manpower to go into the arab town to retrieve them. When we staged a protest, 100 cops and yassam showed up and started beating certain targeted right wing leaders.
4. and....
eliyahuy   (12.08.07)
A cab driver in the area had his car stolen. He got a call from the thief offering to sell him his car back. He went into the village and was nearly lynched. He barely escaped with his life. The outcome? The cab driver was arrested. No joke.

Truly the acts of a responsible partner for peace. When will the gov't of Israel and US acknowledge the truth
6. Palestinian Car Thieves
Dr. David ,   Netanya, Israel   (12.08.07)
Why doesn't our government "Hasbara" service publicize the fact that the PA is staffed by liars and thieves. Perhaps this would reduce thepressure by the U.S. and other wishful thinkers that the PA can be trusted.

...they mentioned that the only thing Ali Baba didn't steal was the air in their tires.
8. Dang! That sounds just like Mexico and America.
Rivkah   (12.09.07)
There is an agreement by the American police and government not to make the theft of a vehicle a felony, no matter how many vehicles are stolen. If you DAMAGE someone's vehicle with over $500. damage, it is felony vandalism. But to steal the whole vehicle is only a misdemeanor. Not only that, it is a misdemeanor that does NOT count in the "Three Strikes and You're Out" laws of going to prison for life for three felonies since vehicular theft is is always a misdemeanor. The vehicles are then taken to Mexico and Belize and registered without being returned to the rightful owners in America from the VIN number. The car manufacturers don't want the stolen cars back since they can sell more cars that way. It's a racket! Just like the Pals and the Jews in Israel.
9. Mine was a Volkswagon transporter
Free Gilad Shalit ,   Israel   (12.09.07)
Thieves broke into our house while we were asleep and stole car keys and cellphone. When I rang cellphone, an Arab answered. Hello, are you the thief, I asked. God forbid, he said, I'm just a car salesman. This was at 6am. You can have it back for 20,000 shekels he said. No thanks, I replied, no chance I wud go into one of their towns and be lynched.
10. Spinner - accurately named. Spin the facts!
Steve ,   UK   (12.09.07)
Little does spinner realize the country of Palestine does not exist, and therefore his rhetoric is already flawed. As with any logical argument, it the premise is flawed, and facts do not support it, the conclusion will be wrong. Also, this is classical Straw Man. Take one thing, blow it out of proportion, then argue against what you just created. Typical Spin.
11. Rivkah used the expression "tang". That's a first.
(12.09.07)
Did anyone else notice that?
12. #11- obviously not because she didn't say it!
redmiike ,   tel aviv and london   (12.09.07)
she said, "dang" which is another way of saying damn or it people don't feel comfortable with the blasphemy 'darn'. Seems like you were seeing what you wanted to see or letting you biases or preconceived opinions get in the way. Woe, careful, MIke
13. Arab car thieves
Limor ,   Jerusalem   (12.09.07)
My friend's car was stolen from an indoor parking place in the Jerusalem Mall over a year ago. He was told that several cars are stolen from there every month. A few days later an Arab called him and offered to give him the car back for a large sum of money. The police told him not to do it as he would never see his car nor the money again. The police themselves refused to get involved as they are afraid to go into Arab neighborhoods and towns. This is a disgrace. There is no law and order here.

Next time you should wire to 220. Was done before ,and it works:-))
15. What I do to discourage car thieves is to lock a "CLUB"
Rivkah   (12.09.07)
device on the steering wheel and another "CLUB" steel device on the brake that connects to the steering wheel. It takes longer to steal such a vehicle, so usually the thieves will hit an easier target. A good "CLUB" device costs about forty dollars. There are cheaper immitations.
16. 11 Dang and darn are kosher. Damn is more a swear word.

17. YNET..YNOT say we put all tb's..say mine to #10
Spinner ,   World   (12.10.07)
Oh that's right you are like all other media filters....like i stated in tb #2. so anyway stevie, if this gets posted. You are so bright to have caught on to the name. You deserve the noble prize for the understanding of the most obvious name. You see it's known as a lobbyist (ie spinner or spin doctor) Israel is full of these PR people. They control the all major media outlets. (IE YNET who should be called YNOT) so anyway watch the clips from tb #2 and watch as best as possible without a racist intent. Like I said in my tb that YNOT filtered for no reason. (unless it is something they are trying to hide from the public) They just wrote an article about how RACIST ISRAEL is and yet no one give a f*&#. It's absolutely preposterous that the US and UE support such a racist regime. I have been to Israel first hand (many times) to experience this racist behavior. So please open your eyes to the truth and watch what's about to happen if Israel stays on this path of self destruction. It will be an unfortunate turn of events that will occur. Thanks YNET for trying to stay with the Israeli PR lobbyist agenda and keep the truth about Israel from getting out. If I was a Gabby Goldwater, Linda Rivera, or Rebecca (Rivkah) you would not filter out their tb's. Don't worry I will keep monitoring your articles and putting the proper spin to them....
18. Use of "The Club"
Reuven ,   Jerusalem, ISRAEL   (12.10.07)
These things won't even slow down a professional thief by a few seconds. At the very most, they will cause a teenage "joyrider" to go to the next car instead of yours.
19. Arafat told Arabs - Israel is ours and so is everyting in it
redmiike ,   tel aviv   (12.10.07)
And that is how it is viewed today. "Take anything that you can from Israel because it belongs to you and therefore it isn't stealing". "Lying to non-Muslims is not lying". Surely there's nothing surprising here ?! Mike

well, i can see that israelis hurt your feelings when you visited. hence the severe hate here for israel. do not worry, israelis are not standing on ceremonies. if you are a jerk, they'll tell it to you to your face. aparently you were when you visited. now, you are suffering from what i call rejection. lick your wounds carefully. there is no need to put a spin on what you call evidence. we know you are personally hurting inside and hence your reaction to israel.
21. 18 Reuven: Spraying the Club lock with freon which is not
(12.10.07)
readily available in America without a mechanic's license to have it, and then hitting the lock with a hammer can work; but that still takes time and preparation and walking around with a can of freon and a hammer that looks odd. Most car thieves are not professionals, but amateurs. Take away the temptation by not leaving the keys in the ignition or the doors unlocked and a lot of thefts can be prevented. There are now fingerprint devices for the ignition to start that would slow down a professional car thief.
22. Thank You Spinner
