Report: UK spy chiefs believe Iran 'deceived' CIA over nuclear program
1. CIA got it wrong? No Kidding?
The question is when did they ever get anything right. American intelligence agencies do not have a great track record. This was a political move by bureaucrats to head-off an American military attack on Iran. It was purely political & a deliberate distortion. With an American military strike off the table & sanctions severely weakened, our options have been reduced to one - a preemptive strike using all the means at our disposal & damn the consequences.

2. Thank you British Intelligence!!!
Thankfully they responded while this story is still hot!! Whaat! U.S. intelligence was faulty concerning Iraq and now it's good???

3. Gotta wonder 'bout them Yanks
Sounds like the American intelligence community is having another internal brain battle between the peter-principled leaders. Anybody who has faith in the CIA and FBI should get a copy of the PBS documentary "The Man Who Knew". www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/knew/view/

4. Goodbye Tehran
you once were a beautiful city..before you were raped by islam.

5. So much for Iran's "vindication".
All the Arabs who were quick to celebrate Iran's "vindication" by the CIA report, especially that IAEA w..ker Al-Bardai, as well as all the responders here from Muslim countries - are all of a sudden very quiet. So the Brits ending up being more helpful than the Americans? Who would've thought the day would come?

6. Good try...but the Telegraph delusional
Its quite entertaining watching the "bomb Iran" industry try every angle to counter the knockout blow delivered by the NIE. The real motives are now surfacing which have nothing to do with nuclear worries. Just goes to show that spinning lies is addictive and once the truth comes out the first instinct is to tell a greater lie to counter the truth.

7. Hey Petere Morris; lend some light!
"The real motives are now surfacing which have nothing to do with nuclear worries. " OH YEAH, WHAT ARE THEY?
SO WE CAN ALL KNOW   (12.09.07)
8. Iran will burn
Because thier leader is begging to be taken out, asap. It's just a matter of time.
Petra ,   usa   (12.09.07)
9. BottomLine:: Iranian regime bastion of Deception & Terrorism
Apparently most US Democrat & other world leftist leaders follow this principle tooo....sad..sad...sad

10. pathetic
it's completely pathetic that 16 american intelligence agencies, and these supposed british sources, would rely on the interpretation of casual comments on a telephone. it makes on e wonder which is weaker, their sources or their analysis? this latest "assessment" smells an awful lot more like it was made to order, for an administration that fears opening up yet another front in the middle east - especially since afganistan and iraq haven't turned out so spectacularly well. it's also fascinating to see the british spin on things: they "regret that this will make an israeli strike more likely", rather than thanking their lucky stars that israel is around to save their limey backsides! (the shahab 3 can reach london.)

11. # 10 is correct
Tom, I agree with you that this report was made to order. It is a badly thought out, transparent attempt to take war plans off the table. We do have internal problems here but it is hard to tell at this point if President Bush is being stabbed in the back or the one doing the stabbing. The timing of the report is telling and I am thinking of two possible explanations. One would be that Bush made a deal with Iran and the other is that the left knows full well we were going to whack Iran and put the screws to it. The problem is that our leaders are so corrupt, one can't tell what is what. There are so many things we do not know. If you look at the past few months at the world leaders globe-trotting, one can surmise that many deals are/were struck. Now to wait and see how it all plays out. One thing for sure is that no matter how dark things look, God promised that once Israel was birthed, never again would the Jews be thrown out. In this we must take solace because God delivered on all other promises. He will not and can not lie.
