We will take no effective action. Everything, even the successful targeted killings yesterday, are mere pin-pricks. We are fighting a make-believe war intended only to fool the public. My criticism is in no way intended to diminish the accomplishements of the Shin Bet or the IDF - they do a splendid job considering the POLITICAL restraints imposed by the losers in our gov't. But we are not fighting to win - in fact, we wouldn't even do this much if our leaders were not afraid of the backlash from a really successful terrorist attack. Their inclination is inaction. In the short-term, it carries less risk. They don't care about long-term - unless it's preparing for the next election to protect their jobs. These are indeed hollow men of no principle except self-interest. The perfect analogy is to be found in the investment world. There are great investors like Warren Buffet who have a long-term strategy based on rational analysis of information & there are day-traders who just want to make a few points, catch a few dollars by gambling on market volatility. Our politicians are unfortunately, all day-traders.
