For all we know Gilad Shalit May Hashem protect him and preserve him, could be brainwashed into a terrorist.
What proof do we have that he is alive and whole?
Why do we bother imprisoning terroists if all we ever do is trade hundreds of murderers for one hostage?
The only way to prevent this is NOT to take prisoners, the only way to deal with terrorists is with either a rope, or a bullet?
Sound cruel? No it is being merciful to Jews who won't be held hostage or kidnapped!
Don't imprison terrorists who will be freed to kill again! Execute them once and for all!
