To the people of Pakistan and to Ms. Bhutto's family, and to the families of the other people killed in this monstrous attack, my sincere condolences. Ms. Bhutto was a courageous woman; whatever her failings in the past, I very much respect the bravery that brought her back from safety into danger in an attempt to restore a more representative government to Pakistan. The murder of this brave woman is both a horrible crime and an awful tragedy.
