aren't there enough problems caused by the enemy? does the IDF have to cause problems because it failed to prepare? the soldiers and their commanders should be disciplined in some way. condolences to the family of the pilgrim who was killed.

Or would you get in the mass pushing and shoving your way through? I know that if I tried and rush through security in Gatwick or Heathrow with a group of hostile people the entire airport would get shut down. i said it was probably a terrorist firing at his own people. now it turned out to be an idf soldier. anyhow the soldiers never fire "just for fun" like the palis. if there is a reason to shoot, they shoot. any threat is a reason to shoot. i was myself stationed at these jeckpoints. i can tell by experience. i shot a pali's leg once coz he threw a bottle at us, we thought it was a molotov cocktail, it turned out to be an empty bottle. in the end we dont care about what the throw. in the end it comed to: "if you dont throw anything, you dont get hurt"... something like that. palis are sick people, they would kill for 10 cents....

I'm surprised the IDF admitted "killing" the woman. Usually they make up stories about gunfire from the other side. If it's not that, it'll be stories about "suspicious" behavior made by the victim. I guess there were foreign reporters on the scene who saw what happened this time.

Usual appalling reporting. The IDF has confirmed it fired shots. The PALESTINIANS are the ones who are claiming the woman was killed by IDF - shock, horror. But well done, you could have paid a little bit more attention but now it is a "fact"....
