1. Earthquakes and the Kenesset.
vicky ,   ashkelon israel   (01.02.08)
Nothing is 100% earthquake proof, and their recent slap on the back award for a job badly done is a bigger earthquake when you consider the insult to the teachers and pension increases. It make you want to create your own earthquake machine and plant it right under the Kenesset itself when - on the rare- occasion that its full. No visitors allowed. They should remember what happened to the disaster in New Orleans, that was flood proof!
2. We're all looking forward
Joseph P. ,   Jerusalem   (01.02.08)
for the collapse of this government. A strong earthquake at the knesset would be a blessing.
3. Does anyone have serious information about this?
Should I be ,   concerned?   (01.02.08)
Forget about the poop-heads in the knesset. They either trust in HaShem that it woun't be so bad or they know alread that THEIR house is quake-proof. So the question is: Where to get information? Where do I find out what structures in my city (e.g. Tel Aviv) fulfull the requirements? How big is the chance of a major quake? What does qualify as 'major'? Major energy released, major number of casualties, great area affected? What place in Israel is most likely to be hit? Since they don't care, one's got to help oneself...
4. They're also not shaken
maziz not   (01.02.08)
by the earthquake they inflict on Holocaust survivors. BUT, a self hike in their pay?? Oh yes Siree, that's for sure, they're all shook up for THAT.
5. MKS unconcerned about earth quakes
Carolyn ,   Israel   (01.02.08)
Sure because they are in an safe newer building and probably live in newer housing as well. But to claim the treasury has no resources to fund renovations on older buildings in the country is crazy, after all they just built a 100 million sheckle wing on the Knessett, and what about the money being spent on the nuclear shelter being built for Olmert and the rest of the government, while the rest of us will be left out in the cold if we are attacked? Where did they find the money for those two things???? Seems to me we need to get rid of the entire Knesset and put in people who are truely representatives of the common person!
6. public buildings that need reinforcement?
yahn goodey   (01.02.08)
dont tell me they had to take the day off to get rid of their christmas trees so they were no longer a fire hazard in their homes?
7. COMPLETE & UTTER FAILURE OF LEADERSHIP!!!
