I went to see Steinsaltz speak recently. I had high hopes that I would hear the words of a talmud chochem, but I was sorely disappointed. He gave a talk full of off-color remarks and sexual innuendo (designed to make a predominantly non-religious crowd "like" him) and was unbelievably rude, condescending and arrogant.
