7. just a problem of communication ?
just a problem of communication ?This "prince" (in fact arab clan leader or sheikh is more precise) say "give back all arab land and you will have peace" Israelis, in fact left wing journalists or misinformed journalists, unterstand give back territories taken in 1967, he has NOT said that... For seoudis arab lands INCLUDE all Israel... seoudis are accustomed to this they define terrorism as "action against islam" and they proclaim they are anti-terrorists, they define anti-feminism as " personn who doesn-t want a woman observe wahabite way of conduct" and they say they are feminist... They have made a déclaration of the right of muslim children where they say it is a right of a child to be brainwashed and islamiced to give his life for islam...

8. "One can imagine ..."
Well, I for one, cannot imagine.
Anyway, trading land & security for empty promises, no matter how sweet, is not my idea of common sense.
Experience has shown us that treaties & agreements with the Arabs are not worth much.
And considering that the gentleman comes from the epicenter of jihadi terrorism & extremism, his words should be taken with a grain of salt, actually a kilo of salt.
Nothing stops the esteemed Saudi prince from visiting Israel - except of course that he would have riots at home from his tolerant citizenry.
Chalk this one up to more propaganda.

9. Withdraws from all occupied Arab territories.
There are no occupied Arab Territories. They lost them when Israel Defeated the attackers in War. Now all of Gaza is a slum. Send them all back to Syria, and Jordan. Then go into Gaza and level everything and start over. You can not appease or negotiate with folks who's primary goal is to kill you.

13. due to historical facts- there never was a Palestine as
a Nation, never was a history or language or any thing else..
arabs from all arabs countries invade Israel in 19 century..
the solution can be only one: Saudia has plenty of land...give to palestinians land and build them a state there... BTW... there is Jordan...the ready made Palestinian State already..so take those arabs to Jordan!

14. NO to Wahhabhist prince crap
The Wahhabhist thugs attacked America on 9/11. Americans should never forget that. Bush should not forget it. In fact Bust should terminate his business relationship with the Wahhabhist state of Saudi Arabia. And this Wahhabhist prince of crap has the temerity to tell Israel what to do. Israel should tell them to go to HELL. Saudi Arabia has NO business meddling in Israel's internal affairs. Bush should STOP selling weapons to Saudi Arabia. It is time Congress terminates such proposal and other business connections with Saudi Arabia. It is time Congress enacts a Law forbidding any Americans or American entities or institutions from receiving corruption/contribution money from Saudi Arabia whether is from a prince of thugs or a prince of craps.

17. Some Points to Ponder About This Plan
"... integration of Israel into the Arab geographical entity ..."
What exactly does this mean? It almost sounds as if the goal entails Israel becoming another nation in the UAE and giving up its status as a sovereign nation.
"We will start thinking of Israelis as Arab Jews rather than simply as Israelis"
This is another troubling statement. Again, are Jews to be regarded as just another Arab clan, like the Bedouins? Still sounds like forced assimilation with the Jews reduced to second class citizen, Dhimi, status.
Other pieces, such as the status of Jerusalem and the Golan Heights, are not discussed either. Personally, I feel there is no discussion of Jerusalem. It always was the capital of Israel and always will be spiritual capital, if not the political capital, and cannot be separated nor separated from the country of Israel.

18. Arab Jews!!!!! Did you hear that?
Thank you Prince Turki. At least you don`t want to eliminate us, only to enslave us as Dhimmis. Surely, you expect us to kiss your feet for such a generosity.
As for Yossi Alpher, co-editor of an Israeli-Palestinian website, his encouragement by Prince Turki`s statement shows that he is unable to read not only between the lines, but also the lines themselves. Alpher`s false dreams should have no credit in Israel`s way to react to Prince Turki.

19. CHILDREN OF ISRAEL!!!
We are not a Jewish people. How much will have to happen in order to change all the titles which the nations of the world have bestowed upon us? We are children of Israel in the land of Israel which was promised to our forefathers thousands of years ago. The Ishmaelites cannot accept that Isaac was given the land and that it passed, as an inheritance, the Israel's children.
We are not American Jews, Arab Jews, French Jews once we come to live here to claim our inheritance.
The Ishmaelites will never accept our presence in this land because it will give validity to a Biblical promise which the Koran doesn't recognize.
That's why the final war will come and Supreme Justice will be finalized.

22. Does anyone read here?
The Arab League plan doesn't mean anything like posters are saying here. It refers specifically to land seized in 1967. It is a very clear, short and simple document. Israel cannot anyway hold on to East Jerusalem in the face of unanimous international opposition, due to the illegality of annexing land beyond the armistice line. Isreal has no supporters on this one.
Nor is there any intention to make Israel an arab country! When the EU talks about Turkey joining the European community of nations one day, it doesn't mean they will have to stop being Muslims or having mosques, it is a polite welcome from friends and neighbours.
This is a fine offer and the best one on the table. What a change from the extremists who wish to eliminate the state of Israel altogether. To conclude a sensible agreement and have normal relations with Arab countries in the future would be brilliant for Israel's children. The wider interests of Israel must triumph this time over the xenophobic, expansionist views of the zealot wing.

Interesting. There were Arab Jews in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Egypt, Lybia and more. There were expelled, their property confiscated and most of them eneded up here in Israel. Wesaw this movie before and do not like reruns..

27. The Arabs need Israel
Without oil wealth, the Arabs would constitute no threat to Israel. Those who follow technology know that independence from oil tyranny is probably less than a decade away. Google has just made a bet that solar power today is not merely competitive but cheaper than most, if not all, of the others. I am a little sorry that they are focusing on eSolar rather than the Israeli company Solel.
Without oil, the Arabs need Israel's technological and business know-how to improve the living standards of their people.

Arabs and Hebrews have always been the same people anyhow, just those that trod a slightly different path and follow a slightly different faith. Chalakah and Sharia are the same word in two languages, and the same set of concepts evolved separately. Through most of history, Jews and Muslims coexisted more peacefully than either with Christians (and perhaps better than Sunni and Shia today).

Once many, now presumably few or none - if we are to believe the Quran, Medina was founded by Jews and had a large population of them at the time of Mohammad, inspiring his attempt at an interreligious constitution for the city. Unfortunately, since the founding of Israel, Jews have served as the bogeyman of Muslim nations, allowing them easy distraction from their own tensions (e.g. Lebanon's civil war, Sunni-Shia conflict, Arab socialism versus religious government, etc). It's been unfortunately too easy to say "forget these conflicts, let's fight the real enemy who are abusing our brethren" as a unifying call, and several aspects of Israeli society and law provide easy things for them to point to as justification for that.
