The media grossly downplays Qassam missiles menace which not only ruined the lives of thousands of Israeli civilians but also killed and maimed hundreds. It caused property damage in the millions of dollars and demanded creation of shelters in kindergarten and schools. About 10,000 Qassam missiles rained over Israel since 2001. It was hoped that disengagement from Gaza in 2005 will stop firing these missiles, but it did not. 2-3 Qassams were fired daily but the number increased and recently 40 such Qassams were fired in one day. There are three Qassam models: The older 1 and 2 have a steel sleeve which weighs 12 and 70 pounds while Qassam 3 weighs 198 pounds. All have a load of explosives 1.1, 13.2, and 22 pounds respectively. They need ignition systems, detonators and delivery systems. Production of 10,000 such missiles requires hundreds of tons of steel, explosives (mostly made of fertilizers) and accessories. In short, there is a need for a factory, a production line. Yes, there is also need for a lot of money to buy the steel, explosives to manufacture the Qassams. This factory must be a multi million operation. An industry. While Palestinians and others complain about human rights of the Gazans there is enough electricity for the missile factory and enough money to buy explosives. Moreover, Hamas tightly controls Gaza and firing of Qassam missiles is done by their orders. They use surrogates terrorist organizations to divide responsibility and shift the blame from Hamas to others. In the same time the Israeli nurseries in Gaza that brought 125 million dollars annually to the strip are destroyed. Israel should deny the Palestinians any supplies. Gazan can go to Hamas and demand Hamas terror to stop. As brutal as it sounds Israel has to stop the continuous punishment by Hamas terror. 50% of Israeli in Sderot have post traumatic syndromes, are maimed and killed. The other option is for IDF to attack Gaza. If the Palestinians think that this is a better option let them tell us. If Gazans can produce missiles why can't they use the fertilizers to reactivate the profitable nurseries?

Once again I bring up the issue of demanding at least all those in the Knesset be given loyalty oaths to sign which state they are loyal to the Jewish State and if they don't sign these, they need to resign or removed as they do not represent any Israelis. Following that if need be, loyalty oaths should then be given to the population and those who refuse to sign should be given a few months to leave voluntarily before they are thrown out.
