I have already read through five articles and skimmed another five to try to find an unbiased report...Reuters, BBC, Times (which was the worst), have all been conducting a smear campaign. In most of these articles, I do not even see mention of Israel's side. In several, there is not even mention of the rocket attacks. It is all about the "plight" of the Palestinians. It is really sad that I cannot find an honest portrayal anywhere inthe media.

I dont why anybody bothers with these people. I mean, even if you did actually believe that Israel was acting inappropriately - there's a limit to which a reasonable person can take. The pals and arab friends exceed that limit on regular basis. Its not possible for anyone to really know whether there could be any truth in anything these crazy people say about the Israelis. but I see there point. I am a product of a liberal catholic education here in Melbourne. When in school most of our reading syllabus was to do with the persecution suffered by the Jewish peoples of Europe during the Nazi era . That is of concentration camps, exterminations, expulsions, and ghettos (especially of the warsaw ghetto). Back then I wondered how the world would let such things happen. I now understand how things like that happened. Sad... and it's a shame.

Arab States routinely dismiss the excesses of the Nazis, deny/justify the holocaust and portray the Nazis, Germans, Europeans as the victims of Jews and of course now they are the modern day victims of Jews. The Arab States first republican experiences upon independence were mostly Fascist governments, even naming themselves National Socialist movements, Nasser's Party, the Baath party et al. Arab States first acts upon independence were characterised by persecution of Jews, confiscation of property, removal from civil services, the Judiciary... This all seems a familiar scenario, where else did this happen? Oh yeah Nazi Germany! Many Arab States commonly gave safe harbour to Nazi war criminals. Arab State's media exceeds the worst excesses of Nazi propaganda in vulgarity and their portrayal of Jews. Accusations of consuming blood, legitimising the worst conspiracy theories Zionist Protocols, undermining morals, agents of Satan (literally not metaphorically). So in the end I am left wondering what it means in the Arab psychology to call someone a Nazi.

Brod, when it comes to Arab media, the joke is really on them. Anybody who slept through half of a course in Critical Thinking could poke holes in the accusations and lies they propogate. After all, isn't this the same media that: a) says that the Holocaust never happened; b) says that the Holocaust was just the beginning and that Israel should prepare for the 'real' Holocaust; and c) says that Israel is perpetrating a "Holocaust against the Palestinians"? I mean, puh-leeze, anybody who believes that Arab press serves any purpose other than incitement to genocide needs to get their head examined...
