Not surprisingly, the UN passed a resolution condeming Israel for defending itself. The resolution did not mention the thousands of rockets launched against the civilians of Sderot. The antisemites of Western Europe actually abstained from voting becaause even this resolution was too one-sided for them to agree with. That was the signal for Fatah to start a new terror offensive against Israel as they know that there will be no repercussions for them. Remember, their quasi-leader Abbas constantly condemned Israel's attempts at self-defense while doing less than nothing to defuse the situation.
