That the likes of Libya can hold a UNSC seat while Israel can't shows that the UN has truly lost its way, that it has abandoned its original mission to preserve the peace and promote human rights. Like some bully who can't get his way, Libya couldn't accept a resolution that put any responsibility on an Arab party, and if Israel can't be blamed, it's not worth the effort.

Libya's action shows that that country has somehow been cowed by the world Zionist-Jew lobby. As to Livni's statement, "Israel" really needs to apologize for reconstituting a state, by political and military means, on land that was taken from the Hebrews, through their defeat by the Romans, because of divine edict. Jews should seek their liberation by sincerely accepting the love and salvation of Christ Jesus, not by espousing Zionism.

The UNO and the Security Concil members should know that there are never good excuses for murder : ignoring the murder is the equivalent of complicity.
