1. TOO BAD EGYPT IS SO AFRAID OF USING MAJOR FORCE
or maybe they really don't are and are actively encouraging hamas to play games with their ineffectual border officers and troops.
The world is now laughing at Egypt... just it did in June 1967.

2. The inhabitants of Gaza.
For the “innocent” civilians of the Gaza strip, life is getting worse every day, and the situation will certainly not improve in the foreseeable future. Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Fatah and other terror organizations exist only through terror. They will go on bombing Israeli civilians and of course, Israel will react by bombing Gaza. For the inhabitants, future seems gloomy.
In order to have a chance for a better future for themselves, but mainly, for their children, the Arabs living in Gaza will have to choose between politics and well-being : they should think about emigrating, discretely, to other Arab countries, (most of these countries are not very populated and can easily integrate them). What they might expect by remaining in Gaza you can read at : http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.com/2008/01/gss-gaza-has-become-terrorism-base-camp.html

3. Gaza Crossing into Egypt
It is clear that no one wants the Palestinians. The reason is simple. every country that offered the Palestinians sanctuary was repaid with the Palestinians destabilizing the government.
King Hussein (Jordan) killed 10,000 Palestinians in one night, he did not go far enough.
Lebanon, Lybia etc, etc all tried to help and were repaid with trachery.
Now it is Egypt that is being invaded by these Sand Fleas. They have no respect for borders or civilization and like true parasites suck the life out of all societies.
Israel MUST stop the fuel, electricity, water, medicine and food to Gaza. Let the Palestinians feel what they have done to all other peoples.

7. EGYPT IS HAVING A TASTE OF ITS OWN MEDICINE
Egypt wanted Israel to carry all the weight of Hammas in its border, and allowed major arms and explosives infiltration, well, now they are dealing with their own tactic but beingn aplied at them, serves them right.
Now it is the time to seal Gazas border with Israel, break all contacts and spell clear new rules of engagement meaning that not even a pistol bullet will be tolerated from now on across the border, and that bullet will be considered an act of war. and dealt accordingly

8. I suspect
that thousands of gazans have already permanently fled to egypt and beyond. this is a major blessing for israel. a massive but initially slow incursion into gaza could cause a massive efflux of population and stop rocket fire eventually. demographic changes could occur if this is used wisely

9. Egypt and Palestine are _ONE_ people
'One large banner read: "Egypt and Palestine are one people, not two."'
Did someone finally admit that there are no Palestinians, only Egyptians?

10. Pals
Anyone extending a helping hand to the pals better expect to get it bitten off,as Egypt is finding out.
I agree with Terry, better Egypts problem than Israels and the pals are not making any friends.

15. Re: Gaza Crossing into Egypt
I am very sad that somebody with your mentality and language... I wish to see how would you act when somebody lock you and your family in your house with just basic food, unhealthy Water supplies , electricity for just basic light. Can simply look in the mirror and tell yourself how much humanity you will have left under these unhuman conditions, or how much respect you will have for laws and for those who imprison you...or is it that we in the us just became News Media Dummies who will only reflect what we hear on TV without thinking....if we really went to war all around the world claiming to be the " Guards of democracy and freedom around the world" ….we should be ashamed of people like you who demonstrate such disregard for human dignity.

16. Egypt
I am an Egyptian, and let me tell you, Egyptians are not happy with what is happening in Sinai, especially as Hamas members have been attacking our soldiers and are planning terrorist attacks in Sinai. However, Egypt is in a difficult position, it can use violence and kick the Plaestinians out, but it will be attacked by almost everyone as it is kicking out a people who are in need, and once again the stupid actions of Hamas will be felt only be the civilians.

Big diffrence between afraid and humans , we are not like you killing around , we are not butchers , we are not vampiers ... we understand their problem and we deal with it don't worry but we will never have a war against the Palistinians ... sorry to disappoint you . your dirty game doesn't work anymore with us we know you now more than you know your self ... all your games are like open book for the world now .

18. Gaza/Egypt & #3
That's not true that no one want Palestinians...Who wants millions of people coming into a country..that's a reciepe for disaster...
No country would want that..and what your spouting is pure Zionist propaganda..
I think you, of all people would know
that the US is having a problem with immigration...
It's sad when the argument has to stoop to propaganda to make everyone feel better about the disasterous failure of the siege...

21. Trust me my subjects
Hamas PM Haniyeh: We won't allow border to be resealed
And Allow Palestinians to go to Egypt and suffer.
“I shall let my people suffer but not change my attitude. Because you common Palestinians suffer, I receive my salary and much more than that! Do not ask me how; because I cannot explain, I only experience it. Therefore; you people keep on suffering, I keep on experiencing! I shall sincerely support you in your suffering! That is how we shall build our nation! Trust me.”
Sincerely all yours Haniyeh

22. PALESTINIAN OPTIONS
Ismail Haniyeh says the Palestinian people have many options!
They have the option to get rid of Hamas.
They have the option to demand Hamas abandon its campaign of terror as an instrument of political policy or any policy.
They have the option to demonstrate their remorse at their actions on September 11th 2001. When the World Trade Centre was burning there were tens of thousands of Palestinians dancing in the streets, chanting slogans against America and burning the American national flag. They were celebrating the attacks on America.
The Palestinian people have the option to demonstrate publicly for relations based on cooperation for peace, not confrontation for holy war.
They have the option of the Two State solution. But they must reach out for it non violently.
They have the option to be an example of humanity to all Arab nations. But they must become a free democracy before they will have the freedom to do so.
They have the option to free themselves of terrorism and plots to murder people.
They have the option to speak to Hezbollah and implore Hezbollah to abandon its war against Israel because this compromises Palestinian hopes for freedom and independence.
Palestinians have many many options open to them. When will they choose these options?

Just wanted to say how much I love the classic finger-point all the terrorists do when they pose for the media. For some reason, every picture of Hamas leaders shows them ranting on and pointing upward. Isn't that weird?

24. Egyptpalistan? Paliegyptian?
Has a nice ring to it.
Egypt can now collect part of the pledged 7 billion for the Pals. Maybe the US can save a few bux?
Egypt needs another handout. Neither the Pals or Egypt can earn a real living.
they are dependent on 'donors' from the west.
Hmm, with all the arab oil money, can't these cheap screws help to fund their own refugees?
Love the fact that hey even acknowledge they are ONE.

26. On the nail #3 (Dan)
"It is clear that no one wants the Palestinians. The reason is simple. every country that offered the Palestinians sanctuary was repaid with the Palestinians destabilizing the government."
Factoid: in the case of Jordan, there was an EARLIER attempt to destabilise; the 1951 murder of then-king Abdullah I (grandfather of Hussein) was ordered by self-appointed leader (till he relinquished it to equally-or-more evil Arafat in 1964) of "Palestinians" Haj-amin Husseini, erstwhile Jerusalem Mufti.
Husseini himself had been appointed Mufti by British, due to meddling by T.E. Lawrence "of Arabia" with the fruits of Gen. Edmund Allenby's combat victories; he signed a blood-covenant with Adolf Hitler in 1936 and turned on his erstwhile benefactors (British).

27. #15: Oh, Boo-Hoo....
Let's see for how long you'd last in Sderot, having only 15 seconds to respond to rockets and mortars coming at you every day.
When Israel left Gaza in 2005, what's the first thing that Gazans do?
Build schools? Roads? Shops? Hospitals? Housing?
Nope. They immediately started firing rockets and mortars at Israel while beginning a massive smuggling operation of weapons for their final assault on Israel.
They brought the border on themselves and have none to blame but themselves and Hamas.
So, "Boo-hoo" to your bleeding heart banter.

28. It brings tears to my eyes
Watch the terrorists overun Egypt and they want Egypt to provide Gaza with electricty, gas and everything else they currently get from Israel.
Looks like they not only want Egypt to provide them with electric & gas along with the other services currently provided by Israel seems they are after holiday homes in Egypt as well.

29. there was no need for the 10 plagues
Pharoh got sent 10 plagues because he didnt want to give up his jewish slaves.
If Hamas had come along just a few thousand years earlier then there would have been no need for the plagues because Pharoh could have let the zionist Mosess take away the jews and still had workers to build his pyramids in the form of Hamas.

In other words your getting a taste of Israels medicine.
Hamas attack your soilders and plan terror attacks.
Egypt could use violeence against the and kick the palestians out but it will be attacked by allmost everyone as its kicking out a people who are in need.
What your saying is that its ok for Israel to have these problems when the problem is shiftted to Egypt its bad news and Egyptians are not happy.
Maybe now you will understand what its like for Israelis and why we have no love for Hamas.
