and no, this does not lead to violence. It puts blame where it it due. We need more MKs who aren't shy to say it like it is.

of speech and reckless words that might incite violence.” While we are talking about inflammatory rhetoric lets look at arab MK Tibi statement of just a couple of days ago when he compared two Israeli soldiers mooning a crowd of left wingers as inhuman and stated that "the footage was "Abu Ghraib prison (in Iraq), IDF-style" When one presents the truth and I believe MK Eldad did just that he should be praised not censored even if it makes "somebody" uncomfortable. Now MK Tibi with his undying efforts to make a mountain out of a mole hill in effort to purposefully inflame passions is ignored. It just goes to show what a spineless two tiered standard Israeli politics have descended to.
3. Eldad is absolutely right!

Taste? Aylaon is concerned about taste? In the House of K? Sounds like Eldad has his stuff together and his keppleh on straight. Cue Sondheim's Send in the Clowns.
5. And what do we call Olmert's actions?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (02.06.08)
They would have to really improve to be merely crossing the bounds of good taste. They should be illegal. Why is it legal to arm terrorist that announce their intension is to use those same weapons on Israelis? If anything Eldad didn't say enough.
6. More of the same spin...
Joe ,   Los Angeles, CA   (02.06.08)
Ayalon admonished MKs to “conduct political debates within reasoned limits in order to avoid a slippery slope of violence that can cause a true rift in the nation.” I, for one, doubt that Ayalon is too blind or ignorant to notice the rift in the nation that already exists between the government and its constituents. However, unable to refute the statements made by Eldad, Ayalon resorts to this statement: "There is a fine line between freedom of speech and imprudent language that could lead to violence." Ladies and gentlemen, don't be fooled by Ayalon's showmanship. He is using ad hominem and ad baculum (essentially smear tactics and threats of violence) in an attempt to silence Eldad and stifle meaningful debate. Don't get fooled by spin tactics such as these. The actions of this government are treasonous and its members should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
7. “clearly traversed the bounds of reasoned debate”
MK ,   Philadelphia USA   (02.06.08)
Most of this Knesset are far too stupid to even understand what "reasoned debate" is. Olmert has more than just blood on his hands, and Ayalon knows it all too well.
8. actually, he is right - olmert did it..
eddie ,   London UK   (02.06.08)
Olmert released terrorists, and armed them. he is therefor responsible for the consequences. Olmert should be investigated for aiding terror.
9. The usual hypocracy
Simon ,   TA Israel   (02.06.08)
And yet Eli Yishai and mk Zeev from Shas regulary vent hatred and incite violence towards the gay population of Israel and nothing is said. Ethics ? They dont have any!
10. ELECTIONS NOW! Let's see who stays and who goes
Squalid Ibn Harman ,   Qtir   (02.06.08)
I believe Eldad will stay
