Most of us around the world now regard the Israel/Palestinian (one sided) conflict as a football game. So whats the score? So far this year my estimate is about 3 Israeli's killed versus close to 200 Palestinians killed. Last year 5 Israeli's killed versus something like 300 Palestinians killed. Now i was never brilliant at school but my prognosis is that Israel is doing the killing. But hey I.ve been wrong before and after all israel can spin its way out of anything so maybe I need guidance. Quite franklly for someone like myself who looks at things as they are now and not at history Israel comes across as the cause of the majority of the worlds problems. e.g. economics and terrorism. Disgusting is not a strong enough word.

From here it is easy to see they are getting into position to attack your coountry, and I would not count Syria out of it either. PM Olmert's in-ability to make a decision, is just an invitation to these terrorist. No other country would tolerate that for a second...they call that an act of war, PM Olmert. You - both sides - are so full with hate and so addicted to force that you forget your own and the opponent's humanity. Like it or not, the Palestininans - Muslims and Christians - and the Jews are human beings. A rocket on an eight year old boy is more than disgusting. A retaliation that involves the killing of civilians or destroying their property is not less disgusting. You are on the same level. Both of you - Israelis and Arabs - are terrorists, although you use different weapons and tactics. I think this vicious circle of violence shows the helplessness of the parties to the conflict: Israel is not able to defeat the Palestinian terror, because it is an asymmetric conflict in which all the technical equipment of its Army is useless. Israel's retaliations always hit more innocent civilians than terrorists. The Palestinians also cannot win anything in this conflict, they are too weak. So - yes, retaliate and level a Palestinian neighbourhood. Hit their women and children. But don't ever claim again to be better than the terrorists. Neither Palestinians nor Israelis can claim a place among the civilized nations. Claim your place among nations like North Korea, Iran or Sudan. I am sure they will understand you.

Of course these *leaders* are doing. They are *doing* so much! And so often! Going to high-class restaurants, sauntering off to world-class hotels all over the globe, purchasing mansions, luxury automobiles, geting facelifts and joiing Hair Clubs for Men, all take much effort and focus! They are doing what they are being paid to do, and who are we, the sucker sacrificial lambs to speak out against such elitist masters whose sole goal is to further their own enterprises? Well, guys, I was born exactly 34 years after WW II to a German mother, who was born after the end of WW II herself. My father isn't even German. I have nothing to do with the Nazis, I did not nor will I ever commit any sort of racist crime. Micha, #24, the fact that your army did not annihilate the German population but held the war criminals responsible in a fair and just trial in Nuremberg shows that your Nation once had a degree of humanity and civilization you can only dream of nowadays. Firstly, the State of Israel can do without statesmen like Meir Sheetrit. He thinks himself innocent? How would he like it if someone levelled his home. Or his neighbourhood? Whichever neighbourhood he would pick in Gaza would contain people who are totally innocent of the Qassam attacks on Israel. He is bad news for Israel's posture in the argument. The Prime Minister should call for his resignation. If he wont resign, sack him. Immediately. There is only one way to silence the qassams. There is no violent option that could be completely effective. Violence will only cause fatalities amongst innocent Palestinians. This state of affairs is totally unnacceptible. The only way to silence the qassams is through international pressure. It has to be mounted from all corners of the globe. Hamas must be told publicly by other nations that their stategy against Israel is not supported. This is the only way to get the terrorists to seek dialogue (of whatever kind and in whetever international direction) that takes the place of their resort to violence. Most of the Qassam crews are blood thirsty idiots who have been ideologically conditioned to seek the extermination of the Jewish nation. They are not intersted in a free Palestine. If they were they would seek international support for their agenda. But they have one agenda. It is the end of the State of Israel. An impossible ambition to achieve. So is military action against the qassams. Things can only escalate. That is what they want. They don't care how many martyrs are made so long as it discredits Israel in the eyes of the world. And the world is doing diddly squat to stop Hamas. So wise up Qadimah. Recruit global condemnation of the qassam bombardments now. And don't stop till they stop.
