Egyptian official: Guards ordered to open fire at Palestinians    Associated Press
1. The silence is deafening
Egyptian Muslims threaten to kill Palestinian Muslims on site for not honoring a "separation fence" and the UN, AI, Meretz, and B'tselem have all lost their voices
Reality Check ,   BaGolan   (02.14.08)
2. Egypt and the Arab refugees.
It would be fair for Egypt to be the first Arab country to take its part in the historical responsibility of the Arab refugees problem and help to solve it by accepting the Gazan Arabs and integrating them. That would be the beginning of the return back home to the countries they came from in the 19th and 20th centuries, of the Arabs living west of the Jordan. That would give a chance of peace to the region. As to the Arab refugee problem, the Arabs that left 60 years ago, in order to be correctly informed about what happened read : http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.com/2008/01/win-win-solution-to-arab-israeli_7104.html

3. Apartheid!! Racism!! SIEGE!!!!!!!!
Why no candlelight vigils to protest Egypt's apartheidist, racist siege of Gaza? Why no outcry from Amnesty International? Why no condemnation from the UN? I'm sorry, I must have forgotten that if Israel can't be condemned, the world just doesn't care. Richard, Invicta, Marlene, Zeal, Chanalau Tova, observer, and my good buddy Lev Bronstein, care to comment on the brutality of Egypt's apartheidist and racist policies against the residents of Gaza?

Don't you know that Egypt NEVER accepted gazans in their midst ? that from 48 to 67 gazans were not allowed to go to live in Egypt ? Don't you know that palestinians in Kuwait , were not allowed to own a business , only 49 % , not 100 % ? They , gazans and other palestinians were not allowed to integrate anywhere in arab countries . Another problem , they want to return here , but here we Israelis are 100 % against , with reason .

5. If This is How Arab Countries Treat Arabs...
Oh, the double-standard! If shooting any palestinian who just crosses the border is okay for Egypt, why can't the IDF level large sections of Gaza to stop the rockets?
Mark H ,   USA   (02.14.08)
6. #5, you know the reason!
Mark, it's because acting against the attackers violates the attackers' human dignity! I thought you realized that only Israel was supposed to respect that unequivocally. The Gazans are supposed to learn about respecting others eventually. At least that's what Daddy US and Mama EU keep telling the PA every time they bail the PA out whenever the PA gets caught.

7. Mubarak should tear down his apartheid wall and let Gazans
flow into Egypt. He is violating their human rights by asking to see their passports.
cynic ,   usa   (02.14.08)
8. Egyptians to shoot border breachers
Why is it like this? Haven't the Egyptians and Gazans heard of normal trade relations? Do these people always have to force everything? I'm glad I'm not of that culture - with such attitudes, it's no wonder they haven't gotten anything out of life, especially when they blame their problems on everyone else but their own foolish leaders. I feel bad for the Palestinians because they've always been led by losers who want to fight others instead of making their own people more self-sufficient.

arabs-pals vote their leaders: hammas, hizbullah, assad, abbas...arabs-pals get what they deserve...they do not want a own state, because they would have to work hard, so they just want to be treated as "refugees" as "poor people" who blame Israel for everythin happens them..."arab-pals" are just an invention since 1914...
