1. I get tears in my eyes every time Livni and Omert speak
Yitzi   (02.19.08)
Lies, deceit, and careless abandon of Jewish families for the sake of the New World Order
2. Livni
joseph ,   israel   (02.19.08)
Livni said "I voted in favor of the process which removed 7,000 Jews from their homes, and I still believe this should have been done" Of course she does. By supporting it, Livni was featured in TIME magazine. It was worth it to destroy the lives of 10000 Jews (not 7000) to appear in the newspaper.
3. Livni giddy
Rod ,   Fargo N.Dakota   (02.19.08)
During the memorial ceremony for Congressman Tom Lantos she was an embarssment for the State of Israel. She appeared giddy throughout the ceremony sitting next to Irish Rock star Bono
4. Wholistic solution
Abraham   (02.19.08)
All these talks of give and take are useless. The only solution for peace is real peace and that means a Middle East Union like the EU where Israel can be one of the members. The West Bank should be named MEU center of excellence for the Union and the Pals given Union citizenship. The security of this area should be mainained by Israel. Jerusalem to be the Brussels of the MEU. Pals to be the reachest citizens of the Union, The vision is tough to realize but the process will bring peace and prosperity for all. All foreigners to ME should be left out of the process. Diplomatic work should be done by the Pals.
5. Livni
leah ,   haifa   (02.19.08)
I think Ms Livni should leave things alone, Israel should NOT even enter into discussions with the P.A. it is just a waste of time, we see this over and over again, and quite frankly we are not getting anywhere with them, time is just slipping away, they don't even recognise Israel as a sovereign state, so what is the point?? maybe she doesn't mind wasting time and the tax payers money... Leah Haifa
6. Remove This Clown Before It Is Too Late
Jerry ,   NYC, USA   (02.19.08)
before she gives your country away.
7. BARF Alert Required for Livni's Cri de Coeur
Gideon Reader ,   USA   (02.19.08)
Errant nonsense! This bumbling amature of an alleged FM, is, if she is to be believe, the LAST persosn to be negotiating anything of substance. "Tear in my eyes." THAT's an excellent condition to be in to bargain with crafty/slimy hostiles, looking to get whatever they can without giving anything in return. God! We ARE SORRY. We did NOT mean to offend. Now send these incompetent nincompoops home and allow Israel another few thousand years with leaders they can if not be proud of, at least not ahsmed of.
8. "Tears of paratroopers at the Wall"
Nora ,   Tel Aviv   (02.19.08)
Livni, don`t start talk like Barak (The poor aunt at the corridors of the Naharia Hospital) or like Olmert (I feel the pain of Sderot people). No Jewish prayer should start with the following: Beshana habaa bemahatsit Yerushalayim (Next year in half of Jerusalem).
9. Dividing Jerusalem
Ray ,   USA   (02.19.08)
No people worthy of a free country would be willing to even discuss dividing Jerusalem. It is so disgusting;an insult to the founders, a denial of Jewish faith and history, an insult to those who perished i.A powerful little nation earning contempt.
10. Livni is either stupid or is brain dead.
Gary A., MD ,   Boston, MA USA   (02.19.08)
11. WHERE WILL WE CRY IF THROUGH CONCESSIONS THERE IS NO WALL TO
RSEENER@GMAIL.COM ,   LONDON ENGLAND   (02.19.08)
LIVNI HAS TEARS IN HER EYES CONCERNING THE PARATROOPERS.WE WILL ALL HAVE TEARS IN OUR EYES IF WE GIVE ONE STONE OF GOD'S LAND AWAY AS A TERRITORIAL CONCESSION. THE RESPECT FOR THE "HOUSE OF GOD ON HAR HA BAYIT WITH OUR ARCHAEOLOGICAL TREASURES WHEEL-BARROWED OUT TO THE RUBISH TIP SHOWS THE RESPECT THAT WILL BE GIVEN TO US AS MEMORIES OF THE PAST ARE CONTINUALLY ERASED. WE MUST NOT PART WITH OUR HERITAGE,WITH CONCESSIONS THAT HAVE BEEN SHOWN ARE NOT EVEN SHORT-TERM BENEFITS .THE LONGER WE PROTECT WHAT WAS OUR FORMER GLORY,G'D AND TIME SURELY MUST BE ON ISRAEL'S SIDE..
12. Forget it Livni
Truth ,   Zion   (02.19.08)
There will never be peace. Like herpes (Palestinians), Israelis will have to live their lives and deal with occasional flareups from this desease.
13. livni.s dilemna
elliot ,   point roberts   (02.19.08)
if she makes an agreement with terrorists who cant or wont keep any agreement--which she admits--time cannot be on israel's side! Did she say when speaking about giving away parts of the country how the land is going to get big enough to divide again?
14.  The Great Lie about Jerusalem.
Jean Van Daem ,   Metula   (02.19.08)
Recorded history has been obliterated by the recent false claims made in the name of radical Islamic fundamentalism supported by the silence of scholars unwilling to face a "fatwa" of assassination, the world media, with full access to Biblical scholars and historical files, have instead accepted the Great Lie. They carry it forward without question and with a certain perverse enthusiasm, having refused to use the Bible as a resource ‒ the most accurate historic record of contemporary events of ancient times. They also have neglected to publicize the historic documents that attest the Jewish ownership of Jerusalem, including Arab sources. The history of Jerusalem and the site of the Jewish Holy Temple, constructed in 956 b.c.e. by King Solomon, son of King David, is fully described with minute detail in the Torah. The First Temple was later destroyed by the Babylonian King Nebukhadnetzar in 586 b.c.e. The Second Temple was rebuilt by order of Koresh (Cyrus), the King of Persia, who also paid for its reconstruction and ordered the return of the Jews exiled in Babylon. The Second Temple was completed and consecrated in 515 b.c.e. as explained in details at : http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.com/2007/12/myths-and-facts-about-jerusalem-and.html

18. Why Are We Allowing Soviets...
Netanel ,   Israel   (02.19.08)
Why do we keep allowing Soviets to give away our homeland? I am sick of all this Europe-diseased leadership. We have one and only home, it is Eretz Yisrael, and it's not up for grabs or up for sale. Enough with spineless leadership! Away with Livni, and with the illegitimate Olmert who NOBODY voted for!
19. You ethnically cleansed West Jerusalem...
Bilal ,   Leeds   (02.19.08)
....in 1948 you ethnically cleansed numerous villages and neighbourhoods in the greater Jerusalem are. You own Hagana commanders gave the name of the 'tihur' for these operations. These villages were not involved in any act of hostility against the Zionists but still you attacked, expelled and destryoed it. Cry all you want but the ghosts of these villages and towns of 1948 will haunt you until you give them the right to return.
20. Unfit to negotiate
eh-oop ,   UK   (02.19.08)
A deal to end violence is what's wanted, but how much will it cost and how can one trust the other side once it's made? By preparing the ground publicly for concessions and, recently, by emphasising that negotiations must not be allowed to fail, Livni hands the Palestinians a huge psychological advantage which only encourages them to demand more and more. Erekat demands, Livni gives. At the end of the day, a deal is there to be made between two sides, but either must be prepared to walk away from the table if their demands, just or unjust, aren't going to be satisfied. The Palis have done it often enough, and they don't have either moral or legal right on their side. Now I wonder what they think they have to lose if they don't reach a deal on terms favourable to Israel? Perhaps precious little. The free world has grown tired of the violence, racism, broken promises, corruption and now understands more and sees through the Palestinians' professional victim status, too. This ought to, but fails to, make Livni stronger in negotiation. Iran's enthusiastic support for those who continue to speak and act like Israel's enemies is no substitute for having a good case. Less support from Iran, and the Palis would be sounding much like Livni does, today.
21. You have no right..tzipi
Paam tzanhan, ,   Tamid Tzanhan   (02.19.08)

23. Professional atheist traitor of the Jewish People
Andras Bereny ,   Kfar Tapuah, Ephraim   (02.19.08)
"Be most careful not to make a treaty with the people who live in the land where you are coming, since they can be a fatal trap for you" (Exodus 34:12)
24. livni is demented. she gives away our heritage!
jason white ,   afula,israel   (02.19.08)
We are so stupid to sit back and let these mentally unbalanced fools give away our land. Who does livni think she is? She has no right to decide to give our holy land to infidels. Why do the fools of kadima and labor out to destroy Israel? And why do those parasites in sh-ass helping them? The next government should outlaw all parties in this coalition of evil. The sh-ass leadership should be exiled to gaza and all their institutions closed. All students of sh-ass schools should be sent for re education in Zionist values as well as the youth of kadima and labor.
25. Livni's tears
Gerard ,   Jerusalem   (02.19.08)
Let's send her to cry at home but not in an Israeli govt
26. Tzipi's Tears
Yosef Goldberg ,   Israel   (02.19.08)
Mrs. Livni was born in 1958 and was nine years old when the paratroopers cried at the liberation of the Old City. Maybe yes, maybe no. It would have been more convincing to us about her feelings if she remembered herself crying at the news.
27. TZIP, You're SHAMELESS
Dr. Dave ,   NYC   (02.19.08)
When I see you , all I want to do is VOMIT.
28. Still thinks Disengagement was correct?
Bibliobob ,   usa   (02.19.08)
Lets see: Jews are still displaced with no homes..... Hundreds of rockets from Gaza.... Hamas-Hizbullah-Iran control Gaza.... Massive arms smuggling from Egypt... Hizbullah bunkers being built in Gaza.... Yeah, a Livni success story alright...Alice in Wonderland style. Look, lets be serious...there should be another Winograd over the Gaza failure!
29. But her parents were good people....
Ilan ,   Ariel   (02.19.08)
Where did they go wrong? They were Zionists and patriots. Their daughter is a unprincipled politician. What a shame.
30. you baffle me
whatyoulike ,   thousand oaks, ca   (02.19.08)
It baffles me how israel fails to see that if you take away another humans's right and opress him continually, he/she would not want anything else in life but to get back that dignity at any cost. The only explanation I have is that you are greedy and think that you can get away with it. You keep saying that all arabs hate you. well here is an arab that does not hate you but giving you friendly advise that the tide in the middle east in turning against you. You better give those poor palestinains some dignity and a full soverign state to call home. When you do that you gain all the moderates and you weaken the extremists.
