31. "Invicta" You are Full of Shtuyot
Brana Lobel ,   Israel   (02.25.08)
"This type of pressure usually goes under the term 'terrorism'." Not true; a sovereign state is a expected to defend itself. This is called national defense. "The are regular and deadly raids by the IDF into Gaza when people are killed and others abducted." Not true; at this point by design only terrorists are killed and no one is abducted. Even if this were true and more, Israel is entitled to defend its people. So take your phony Latinate name and troll elsewhere--maybe Wonderland, where down is up and up is down. You'd fit in quite well.

Oh dear - the redoubt of the loser, insult someone. There are hundreds of Palestinians in 'administrative detention'. these are men. women and quite a few children who are taken into custody (rendered, abducted, kidnapped whatever) and held without charge. There are plenty of Israeli agencies that publish figures on the numbers of Palestinians held without charge. Israel is occupying territory belonging to Palestinians. Various methods are being used including bulldosing people's houses, killing foreign journalists, building segregated roads, using helicopter gunships to fire missiles into built up areas, building illegal settlements. None of these actions can be levelled at the Palestinians who, more so than the Israelis, are defending their lives. Invicta is not 'Phony'. It is actually Latin.
33. gaza

First, Invicta, why does Gaza belong to the Palestinians? Prior to 1967 Gaza was occupied by Egypt, but no one seemed to care about that. Prior to 1948 Gaza was controlled by Britian under the mandate. Prior to that, Gaza was ruled by the Ottoman Empire. Same basically goes for the west bank (just replace Egypt with Jordan). When was Palestine a country? Under Roman occupation perhaps. Who exactly are the Palestinians? Greeks perhaps? Also, even if I agree with some of the other posters about Gaza not really having freedom after the Israeli withdrawl, what positive actions have the Palestinian government taken to improve the lives of their people? Where are the roads, schools, hospitals, sewer treatment plants, anything that has been built for the betterment of the population? Only rockets, weapons, explosives. Same old thing; blame the jews, kill the jews, get rid of Israel... Oh, I know, a jew hating mouse on a children's television show. That's positive. It's a culture of death. Teaching death and hatred to children and the ignorant. Is it Islam itself that prevents Arab governments to do well by their people instead of blaming others, killing others, teaching hatred of others. Perhaps Islam is the Cancer that needs to be excised from the world...
34. Invicta: You Need A Country To Have A Border Crossing
emanon ,   USA   (02.25.08)
The terrorists asked for gaza and they got it. Since then, when they are not killing Israelis, they are killing each other to decide who is in charge. Without a government on the Gaza side, there can be no negotiations over what is legal to bring in and out from Gaza, what will be subject to tariffs in both directions, etc. Until a government is formed in Gaza, Israel has a right to restrict entry into the country or through their country to Gaza in any way the see fit. Form a stable government, use Gaza as the base of your nation and then negotiate for your rights. Just like any other civilized country. Anything less is anarchy. Get it? C I V I L I Z E D There. I even said it slowly so you could understand.
