The seventh paragraph of this article really says it all about the sick distorted logic the Leftists have. All I can say is that if Israel continues to accept this type of leadership, we can all start making our farwells to Israel. I would take these yahoos more seriously if they moved their protest to Sdorot. While I appreciate their concern for human life - we all abhour the deaths of innocent civilians - it is Hamas which is responsible for these attacks. The first kind are those mentally ill people who are delusional, No matter what reality shows them, they refuse to acknowledge that Hamas and Hezbollah are sworn to Israel's destruction and continue to blame Israel for the ongoing rocket fire. Nothing short of commitment in a secure hospital will help them. The second group are traitors. Every country has them. They hate everything about their country and will do anything to hurt it. Oh, aye, that they did! They evacuated Gaza of Israelis on the assumption that some semblance of order and Palestinian self rule would develop there. Instead, a barbarous regime of murderous terrorists dedicated to the destruction of Israel and murder of Israeli civilians has mushroomed in that territory. In that sense, the Gaza disengagement was a good thing. It gave Israel a sign of what is to come if it dares to disengage from other, more central territory. It also exposed the ultra-Leftists, not as altruistic humanitarians, but as the perfidious traitors that they really are.

Ever heard of the "cycle of violence"? You're in and supporting it and attacking your own people for condemning it. All those who favor, advocate or commit violence are extremists and part of the problem. You are retaliating against violence and condemning the enemy for doing the same. You support your extremist government because there are extremists on the other side that you feel threatened by, they do the same. I'm not against Israel or the Palestinians, I'm against the internal fear and the external threat that gives power to the extremists on both sides.
