1. How sad are they?
Talula ,   Israel   (03.03.08)
People that walk into crowded places and blow themselves up killing innocent people will never admit defeat, in any way shape or form. And just because we killed over 100 people doesn't mean we 'won'. You win in a game, this is no game. This was a military operation aimed at curbing the rocket attacks on the folks down south. Only primitive backward ignorants would wage a hopeless war with a more powerful neighbour - the primitives, not having any hospitals, have to rely on Egypt and of course the country they are attacking, to take in the injured. Hamas have only ‘won’ one thing – and that is the award for the biggest Idiots on the planet.
2. Hamas Declares Victory
Israel   (03.03.08)
Only the more intelligent Palestinians will see through their delusions.
3. If only the IDF took...
(03.03.08)
If the IDF took a dump in gaza, hamas would claim it as a victory. Saying that they scared the sh%^ out of the Zionist Army. What idiots!
4. We are defeated by Olmert.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (03.03.08)
Hamas should give credit where it's due - just like Olmert screwed up Lebanon, now he's going to screw up Gaza. Hamas should make him an honorary member & give him a medal. As long as this regime is in power, nothing effective will be done on any front. Olmert is not only the worst PM in our history, he might very well be the last.
5. HAMAS IS RIGHT for declaring Victory! HAMAS INDEED WON!
M.M.   (03.03.08)
While 4 Rockets were fired into Israel Monday morning, powerless Olmert leaves Gaza. Olmert, the weakling, is concerned about his position in the government and fears another Winograd report. OLMERT WOULD RATHER SEE SOME ISRAELIS DEAD than having to deal with the US, UN, EU, PeaceNow, Human Rights and other Leftists. WHAT A LEADER ISRAEL HAS MERITED!
6. The novelty concept of Unconditional Surrender
Jukka ,   Helsinki, Finland   (03.03.08)
The Israeli government is once again pondering its war goals. Here's my suggestion: How about Victory? Set the unconditional surrender of the Hamas regime as the stated objective and act accordingly. Stop the ridiculous "we'll erode Hamas' ability to fight" and "soon the population will turn on them" strategy. Thank G'd the leaders of Western powers in WWII weren't as naive as this. I wonder if Germany or Japan would have surrendered if the Allies would have just kept on sending small incursions of troops into Germany or cutting off the Nazi peanut butter supply.
7. to #1
jerusalem ,   Jerusalem   (03.03.08)
Sorry to say but i thing you are the idiot ------u said it your self this is not a game to see who on or loss but in a military operation to conseder your self won u have to acomplish your gol which is stop rocket attacks which as we seen i didnt not accomplish .. so now u tell me who won and who lost----- u idiot
8. Just be quiet all of you!!!
Israel   (03.03.08)
It's not over, until it's over.
9. For Hanieh...the death lovers
Franklin ,   Paris   (03.03.08)
Only 110...and they declare victory... What a planet...What Aliens... What satanic statements... And all that 110x70 virginians....so busy in that sort of paradise.
10. Arabs lie and make their lies ""truths"by repeting them.
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (03.03.08)
Israel should put reaserchers to research the way arab minds behave in order to fight them properly.Their are vicious savages, primitive beings, without ethics. They are simply compulsive and repetitive in their deadly, obscure, shady faith. Just responding defensively (and insuficiently)to their attacks is not enough.
11. to #8 ...i dont think it will over as u like....
nabulsi ,   nablus   (03.03.08)
12. capture the Hamas leades and offer them in return for Shalit

Talula ,   Israel   (03.03.08)
Ah, I see you are writing from the Capital of MY country, Jerusalem. So, that was one war that was won.... by us. I'm also glad you had time to talkback. I thought you'd be out on the streets throwing rocks at our soldiers. But I'm glad you are not. And before you start celebrating, it's not over. This was a short sharp military operation that is far from over. It was Hamas that jumped up to declare they 'won' - I believe it's the calm before the storm. So don't get out your green flags just yet....
14. Time for equal responses
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (03.03.08)
The IDF should start firing crude made projectiles randomly at the residents of Gaza, these should be made to exactly the same specifications as the missiles fired at Israel. Then they can worry about random hits and lack of targeting as Ashkelon and Sderot .
15. To 1
(03.03.08)
Count it by another way to know who are the idiots , the reason behind this operation was to stop Hamas from sending their rockets over Israel .... you killed more than 100 between fighters and most civilians and children but you couldn't stop Hams from sending their rockets , they are still shooting their rockets ... so you couldn't stop them and you will never do .... so who are the idiots which made unaccounted attack ... Israel lost much more in this invasion ... now you face crimes against humanity and more international presuer and boycott from some countries and they will accuse Israel with destroying the peace deal again ... what you won ... nothing ... who are the idiots ??? ... i leave it to you or ask Olmert .... smile
16. A bully can only be stopped by a decisive action
Olmert is a loser ,   USA   (03.03.08)
Apparently 110 are not enough for Hamas. Why don't you show Hamas what is enough? Let them set the enough criteria...
17. The world hates Jews/Israel. So it's up to Israel to defend
Harry ,   USA   (03.03.08)
itself from the vile enemy.
18. A Few More Victories Like This...
James ,   New York, USA   (03.03.08)
A few more "victories" like this one and the one in Lebanon 2006 and there will be no more Hamas or Hezbollah. Hell, there won't even be a Gaza Strip or a Lebanon.
19. This Isn't Golf, Hamas
James ,   New York, USA   (03.03.08)
I think the Palestinians think they are playing golf...the lower the number the better. They have killed much less IDF sodiers than we've killed their militants, so if this was golf they for sure would be winning. LOL.
20. #15 Another smug one
Talula ,   Israel   (03.03.08)
Tell you what, why don't we arrange to meet back here in say, 3 months - then we'll talk about rockets and Hamas and anything you like. And during that time, I suggest you do some serious westernized thinking. I understand your mentality is infinitely more undeveloped than mine, but try really hard to see things as they are and not what you think they are. See you in three months.
21. To No. 1
Nell ,   Switzerland   (03.03.08)
Talula, I just love your comments, you served the poor idiot right!
22. Please..more victories like this..
Micha   (03.03.08)
1000 times over. do not stop. IDF complete your mission.
23. to 20
(03.03.08)
No problem habibi , in 3 monthes in 3 years whenever you like ... just keep on dreaming and pryind that the situation change maybe .... LOL
24. Hammas claims victory?
don Saliman ,   Nahal Oz, Israel   (03.03.08)
The leaders of Hammas were so brave to declare themselves winners, but when the fig was on,they went into hiding. I hope that you in Gaza are not proud of your leaders because they leave you on the line of fire, while they hide
25. Is it victory because they all wanted to die?
Mughniyah's PR guy   (03.03.08)
26. Hamas declares 'victory' in Gaza
Daniel ,   Israel   (03.03.08)
Crazy idiots; speak throug their bottoms, I think!? The battle is not for victory, it is loss to both sides.
27. hamas declares victory
charlene hale ,   county durham, uk   (03.03.08)
How disgusting. Their behaviour is worse than an odious, churlish, beligerent child. Howver they are far more dangerous. One minute they are crying they are victims etc, and the next decalring victory. To any reasonably sane person they are just out and out liars who want everything their way and psychos at that. I support Israel and the IDF and it is about time the un eu and the world did so instead of giving any support or credence to terrorist who should all be locked up.
28. These people are self deluded clowns
Andy Rogers ,   London UK   (03.03.08)
How sad is this, self denial. Turning a sound trashing into a victory.May they have zillions more of these kind of victories.
29. What you are all saying ??
(03.03.08)
In the last Lebanon war the IDF killed more than 1000 civilians but still Israel announced that they lost the war against Hizballah ... here it's the same you killed 100 civilians but you couldn't stop Hamas ... it's the same ... Israel lost again another war against group of fighters ..... i think you just looking for any moral victory after you have been defeated in Lebanon but still you lost again ... and we will all see the kassams will not stop and maybe will increas ..... wake up
30. Once again
Daniel ,   St. Johns, Canada   (03.04.08)
I've read all these comments. You people are all mentally disabled. I'm finding it difficult to even comment on this crap. One day those actions which you support will come back around. You chose to oppress people with nothing until their only option is to blow themselves up. When i think of the holocaust, I no longer think of ww2, I watch what you animals are doing to a weaker group of people and use that as my mental comparison. To bad you forgot your history, it s gonna come back around before you know it.
