their sticky fingers and greed.

2. Stupid idea. Not much time in which to make it a good one
In PR terms this is potentially massively counterproductive. Serious consideration ought to be given to re-thinking its purpose and style from the ground up. Coming up is a genuinely ambitious rally, supporting charity, from the UK to Mongolia - http://mongolrally.theadventurists.com/index.php?page=overview. Vehicles will all be second-hand, costing no more than 500 Pounds, and will be donated to the local economy at the close of the rally. Serious amateurs are preparing and driving them. The luxury car event provides an opportunity for every manner of predictable prejudicial comment to be made. Make the fundamental adjustments necessary to make it a sympathetic event. Know what one is doing - or don't do it.

"Some of the older cars participating in this rally are a 1942 Cadillac and a 1948 Rolls Royce which will be turning 60 right along with the State of Israel. All in all, the vehicles taking part in the rally have a reported value of some NIS 30 million ($82 million)." since when is a shekel worth over $2.50? doesn't ynet have an editor (who can count)?
