Abu Quisling Abbas claims to be leader of the Palestinian people as their president, yet he abandons them in their time of need, leaving Hamas to be the only helper to which they can turn. This is a VERY BAD blunder on the part of Fatah. It further strengthens Hamas and further weakens Fatah. Several years ago I came to the conclusion that Fatah was not fit to govern and that Hamas seemed to be the only group capable of honestly governing the Palestinian territories. This incident reinforces my conviction. Like Hamas or not, Fatah is not a fit alternative. Abbas should have been out front offering help to those harmed in Gaza. Where is he?
