Fatma Alajou selectively omits to mention the Hamas strategies which set out to frustrate the principles of international law she'd have us believe she holds dear. Human shield strategies frustrate both the ability to distinguish between fighters and civilians and that of intentionally causing harm to civilians. Away from their parades, Hamas fighters' civilian clothes also help them blend in with the civilian population, again frustrating at least the first of these principles. There is no such thing as an accurate weapon in urban warfare. You can fire a guided missle at a terrorist sitting in his car but you cant control the blast when the thing explodes and if your in the wrong place at the wrong time then your going to be affected. A soilder can have his rifle and bullets can go astray and hit civilians by accident. The terrorist groups wouldnt even exist if they didnt get support from ordinary people so if they stopped giving support to the terrorist groups then there would be no attacks against Israel and then Israel wouldnt have to use any kind of weapons.
