Now before you reply 'but Israel doesn't threaten anyone' then you need to think about a) The US's aggressive invasion in Iraq b) the US's aggressive policy towards Iran from the 1960s onwards and c) Isreal's aggresive policy towards Lebanon and the Occupied Territories since forever. Iran is virtually surrounded by aggresive foreign occupiers with a US stooge bristling with hate and high tech weapons planted in the area. Iran has much, therefore to fear. Iran's leaders may talk loudly but Iran has committed no aggresive acts towards its neighbours for over 300 years. Whereas Israel and the US . . . . . . .

if the sanctions were really no problem, a smarter iranian government would "suffer in silence", or maybe even moan loudly once in a while, just for effect. the real question is: how much of an effect will the sanctions have on the rich and influential iranians who are propping up this jihadist charade? because once the "big boys" get tired of playing these games, they're going to pull the plug on the mullahs. this regime needs to fall - from within.
