French jewry is like every other jewry all around the world (that includes Israel!) : you have the poors jews and the rich. In France, especially in Paris, a lot of jews are wealthy and manage very good businesses, if not professionnals (surgeon, MD, lawyers, etc.). They're protected and antisemitism is not really a danger for them. As for the others, the poors and the workers living in the parisians ethnical suburbs, that's another story. As Silvan (posting # 2) pointed out on the victims face they wrote dirty jew and dirty fag. As in the hollocaust the ashes of 6,000000 jews and 500,000 gay people were mixed together, yet Shas continues its campaign to incite violence towards gay people. The Nazis wanted to elimainate any group they considered different. Here in Israel only last week it was reported that 2 teenagers in Rehovot were involved in a homophobic attack, the attackers were apparently inspired by Shas.

Not sure if it was a racial incident?!!! Writing 'dirty Jew' on a Jewish teenager's face is actually questionable in this instance?! I think the act speaks for itself. That poor teen must felt extremely traumatized. If this is not an anti-semetic act of Hitlerism then I don't know what is! It should be treated as racial, anti-semitic....treat is like it is instead of hiding behind a wall of deceit.
