There are positive things about Arab culture (including close families, hospitality to strangers, and food recipes). In my personal experience, some of the not-so-positive things in Arab society are that individual thinking is forbidden, the truth doesn't have any independent value, honor is worth more than innocent life, and the Islamic religious faith is frequently used as an excuse to commit violence against different communities and also members of their own communities. If internal problems aren't even allowed to be discussed in Arab society, how can they ever be repaired?

How did Islam penetrate our societies ? Before 9/11 Muslim terrorists were building global networks again under the American and European radar. We had other things to consider like pacifying Mideast potentates for the oil under their sands. It didn't matter that countries like Saudi Arabia were spreading Wahhabiism (strict Shariah Islam) which taught Muslim children that Islam is not only superior to all other religions but, one day Islam would eliminate these "false" religions under "Shariah" law and Islam would dominate the world. These children grew up and became brainwashed like "Manchurian candidates". They filtered into other countries with the help of foreign services of the West - like the U.S. State Department. Each of the Western nations had their own foreign services who allowed Muslims to flood into their nation even to the point of subsidizing their housing, education, medical care and much more. Nothing was withheld to pacify the Muslim Arabs because they had oil under their feet. So our American Universities are clogged with Arab Muslim "students", opting for classes in Nuclear Physics, Chemistry and Biology - all of which would eventually benefit the military terrorist organizations in their country of origin. Allowing such people to appear on TV is abig mistake and insult to the three religions i.e. Christianity, judiasim and Islam. Why is everyone who does not think like a Muslim called " crazy" . It's about time Islam has a psychologist and from Syian descent at that too.

this is not the first time that wafa sultan has appeared on al-jazeera. this article begs several questions: why is there such an uproar THIS time? her criticism of mohahedanism is nothing new. and why did al-jazeera apologize? would any western station put out such an apology? and why is there no comment from western (or even israeli) sources about this obvious case of intimidation of the media? where are the left-wing liberals (like reporters without borders) on this?
