Hamas says its fighters train in Iran     Ynetnews
1. Olmert's "ceasefire" - smart strategic move.
Our PM could care less about our future security as long as he can get a short-term political advantage. It fits in nicely with Peres' statement yesterday that we would not take military action against Iran. Wait until the Iranians have nuclear weapons, and if they don't take the first occassion to nuke us, then we will have a period of nuclear blackmail while terrorist groups like Hamas & Hezbollah attack us with impunity., Unfortunately, too many Israelis would like to keep their heads in the sand, living in denial. But one day soon, reality will come knocking at the door & punch us in the face.

2. Absolute victory.
Based on theWorld War II experience, “absolute victory” has come to mean vanquishing the enemy – not merely defeating its army and effecting regime change, but forcing its acceptance that the vision that led to its aggression and the system that sustained it were at the end. Victory is needed to prove to the Muslims in general and the Arabs in particular that against their ethos of death stands the ethos of life, protected by the arms of democracies that are resolved to punish them where it hurts most as explained at : http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.com/2008/01/stop-them-with-clear-cut-victory-part-i.html

3. Gaza solution
anybody? divide gaza into 4 mini gazas, preventing hamas from transporting rockets close to sderot and ashkelon, and secure the philadeplphia route. division of the territory will frustrate the rocket fire significantly. could even eliminate it.

5. Why doesn't olmert offer to train them in Israel?
Perhaps hajj bush can train them in Fort Bragg. We arm and finance them already.

6. Trained in Iran
I'm shocked! Shocked! How can this be news? #2. You're so right, AGAIN. Like WWII, these guys must be left with no option other than complete surrender due to the fact that they have nothing left but rubble. We didn't win WWII by winning the hearts and minds of the German and Japaneses people. We won by eliminating any chance they could physically resist. There must not be a negotiated peace, in the meaning of "negotiated." The peace must be dictated...and don't say that a dictated peace doesn't work. Ask Germany and Japan. As for the "hatred" reducing them to rubble will cause, I'd rather be hated by unarmed thugs than by thugs with Iranian supplied technology.
