Why did the father have to wait until he was told to take the flags down? Would that not have been an automatic thing? Why were they allowed up in the first place? Knock the house down, level it. It would be a waste of a house but prosecute the family! They are not sad about losing a son, they are very happy that he died to kill 8 precious Jewish boys!! They probably knew what he intended to do and aided him. And make no mistake the family will be compensated well by whatever terrorist organisation got him to do it. If the Islamic fanatic knew his family would suffer because of his actions he might think twice.

you cant morally do this. it would be like demolishing the family's homes of those kids that shot up the other students at Columbine highschool in the USA. it is a GROSS action to take and the world will not look at you with respect. we will look at you with DISGUST.

I am planning on a tour to Israel in fall and have been a stauch supporter of Israel as God's people, but since deciding on the trip I have been paying closer attention to the behavior of Israel in its fight with the terrorists. I have also read a number of books about the dealing with the Christians in Israel, particularly the Palestinian Christians. I have found many instances where the government has behaved very badly, and their policies are not at all what I would expect of "God's people". Of course I realize that Israel is largely secular and/or pharisaical when it comes to religion. I have no stomach for hardline Zionists. Anyone has a right to defend themselves, but to be merciless is not pleasing to God!

imagine if every criminal in the USA will have his family house destroyed. what kind of system is that...just wondering what virtue that act will bring ? it's not a legal system but a tribal revenge system that with not end.

Talk is cheap. Go to Israel, and let's see what you can do about the situation. One thing I do know is that collective punishment is not Torah or democracy. You don't punish the whole family for the actions of one person. This is not done anywhere in the civilized world, and Israel needs to join the ranks of the civilized.
