Number 1 - if you read the article properly and if you knew anything, you would realise that the money is going to the PA in the West Bank and not to Gaza and Hamas. Even if Hamas manage to steal all the money as you generalise - you would imagine that with the vast amounts of money they have 'stolen' they could afford to buy more than AK47s and home made rockets. Likewise #4 - if so much money is being stolen then why aren't the Palestinians armed to the teeth with the latest Chinese and Russian hardware? And, of course, you forget to mention the bilions and billions Israel received each year in direct aid to buy weapons which are then used to kill Palestians - or as some would suggest - to terrorise Palestinians. Could you give examples of Palestinian propoganda?

They have rockets, missiles (including anti-aircraft - which they used last week and anti-tank), materials for bomb-making guns, bullets, RPGs for killing mainly Israeli civilians. As for Pallywood, they're big on that. Recently they produced such agit-prop gems as the candlelight protests, a film on a dead baby that they killed, and those terrific childrens' TV shows, including one with a genocidal Jew-eating bee. Oh - that's Hamas, you in your ignorance might say. But that money comes from the weak, cigar-puffing, Holocaust-denying thug, Abu Mazen, who just announced that he will opt for an intifada at some point in the future if we don't jump to give him whatever he wants.

You ought to consider the trillions - and it is trillions - that have been wasted in Iraq. And to what end? Before the illegal invasion Al Qaeda was not present in Iraq and now it is. So US tax payers's money has actually benefited the growth of a genuine terrorist organisation. The destruction (and the oil) then has to be dealt with. And the primary contracts have gone to . . . friends of Bush and Cheney. So US taxpayers cash pays for their huge houses and gargantuan profits. And then there are the thousand upon thousand of injured soldiers who have to be cared for for the next fifty years. US taxpayers will foot that bill also. Meanwhile the great G W Bush will ride off into the sunset richer than he was eight years ago chuckling at the subprime market, Katrina, the huge budget deficit and the dead soldiers and hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis. But so what ? Clinton was impeached for having oral sex. Bush on the other hand will get away with it. Where's the wrath?

The PA are not terrorists. It could also be argued that neither are Hamas - they were elected after all. All the Palestinians movements were born out of resistance. Palestinian land was appropriated throughout the last hundred years and the indigenous Palestinians have resisted. There is nothing terroristic about that. The methods employed can sometimes be arbitrary and indiscriminate but the fact remains that israel's 'targeted killings' have a much more detrimental effect on civilian casualties than any Palestinian militant. Just look at the vast disparity in Palestinian deaths as compared to Israeli deaths. The violence increases when israel launches assassinations, raids or kidnappings. The Palestinians then resist. It is not correct to blame an entire people and to absolve the other of any guilt. Perhaps the US politicians are at last waking up to the fact that it takes two to war and that israel is as dumb, nasty and vindictive as anyone they profess to combat.
