Most Westerners are unacquainted with the Pro - "Bumiputra." Policy. But anyone living in Malaysia who is unaware of the "Bumiputra" system has not yet sunk beneath the surface of Malaysian life. Although the word means "sons of the soil," it is not the indigenous Malaysian tribes that benefit from the "Bumiputra" policy, but Malay Muslims alone.

Some indication of the nature of Muslim dreams in Malaysia can be gauged from the speech of Mahathir Mohammed, the former "moderate" president of the country. And if you are a famous non-Muslim, such as the famous mountaineer M. Moorthy, a Hindu, your relatives may discover that unbeknownst to themm, the state will after your death claim that you are a Muslim and insist on giving you a Muslim buerial. And this posthumous "islamization" will take place despite the protests of friends and family, possibly the result either of your fame (which must be claimed for Islam) or your property (to be inherited now by that relative who did convert to Islam and who apparently swears up and down that just before his death, so did the prominent relative in question. Malaysia is well-endowed with natural resources, and it would be hard to be poor with such resources. To be a rotating member you need to be voted in by your regional group. As until recently Israel was not included in any region we could not get voted in.

The UN is dominated by anti Israel islamic states. The dictaitorship famous for its support of terror Syria has had not only a term sitting on the rotating Security Council but it has also had a term as the preseident of the roating security council. Not only was Syria supporting terrorism at the time it was given this but it was also still occupying Lebanon. Israel isnt even eligable to have a turn on the Security Council as it is the only full UN member state thats not even a member of the regional group that ellects members to represent them on the Security Council. Israel also has more General Assembly resolutions passed against it than any othe UN member. North korea, Saddam Hussains Iraq and all the other rouge states and dictaitorships non of them have as many resolutions against them as Israel does. If the UN wants to update the Security Council how about they start by making Israel a pemenent member of a regional group just like every other member state is and then lets demand the rules of the game are fair and Israel gets a shot at a term on the Security Council. If the Security Council is to be enlarged and more spesificly we get more permant members with vetos who will these states be .. more muslim ones in an attemtpt to appease the likes of al Quaida make them think muslims get better representation and we have islamic states with vetos like the Americans have ?
