1. Barak is completely nuts.
"Painful concessions" always lead to the murder of Israelis. The gov't has no backbone, no vision, no conscience. Out with them all! Jenin - in a pig's eye

2. COVER UP.
THE CALCULATED RISK IS... YOUR LIFE OR MY LIFE!...I DON"T LIKE IT!....THIS DECISSION MAKING FOR PEACE, IS A CREEPING INITIATIVE TO CEDE CERTAIN PARTS OF JERUSALEM EMPLOYING THE SAME METHADOLOGY...I DON'T LIKE IT!...WHO ELSE DOESN'T LIKE IT,AND WHAT CAN BE DONE WITH "JUGGERNAUGHT" DECISSIONS BEING MADE WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE MAJORITY...THIS IS" DEMOCRATIC DICTATORSHIP" THAT WE HAVE IMPOSED ON OURSELVES....WE ARE ALL IN THE ARMY NOW, AND MUST TAKE ORDERS FROM OUR SUPERIOR OFFICER... EHUD BARAK...,AND NOT FROM THE PRIME MINISTER... EHUD OLMART WHAT ARE WE BEING LED TO?

3. Will these "officiers" come in armored vehicles?!
Will they come with some of the $150 million in cash supplied by the US? How will they use their CIA training? How long till Olmerde, Tweety and Barak the Freyer get it into their thick sculls that the only "calculated risk" with Jenin will be the sanctioned killing of Jews? Does his birdbrain really think that these "officers" will give traffic tickets? "Peace" talks. Sheeesh! Get some balls!

EVEN THE PREDICTIONS OF KAHANE!
THEY KILLED HIM AND , THIS JERK DRIVES AROUND IN AN EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE VOLVO WITH CHAUFER AND ARMED GUARD, AIN'T "DEMOCRACY GRAND ?

5. THERE IS NO CALCULATED RISK WITH
OL---T'S BUNKER NOR WITH BARAKS SECURITY DETAIL BUT,
WELL THERE'S A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING AND THAT'S WHY ELITISTS HAVE SUCH SECURITY!

|
6. Barak's true colours ....
For all the tough talk, "Mr Security" as he pretends to be, this supposed hawk is at heart a chicken. He follows Washington's directives, only thinks in terms of concessions however unjustified, & rationalizes these concessions as "risks for peace" .....
Now when did we hear those same words repeated ad nauseum?
Oslo.

7. Calculated risk= DEAD JEWS
So it is OK for the US to sanction dead Jews? Why does any solution the world has to offer always include dead Jews? Why would a supposed Jew go along with something that will certainly bring about the death of more Jews?

9. Calculated risks
We have been taking calculated risks since the so-called Oslo peace process. They have all literally blown up in our faces. Is it not time for politicians like Barak to admit that their "calculations " have been wrong?

10. to #1 and all israelis
can anyone explain to me what is actually going on in Israel? Why can the anti-israelis Olmert and Barak still be in the govt? why can you get them off? I mean not as arabs do (kiiling, bombs, etc), but as normal countries do: with elections.....I expect that some real israeli explains it to me. Pls, anti-israelis and anti-semitism abstain from posting me...I really want a real vision....Thanks!

11. "CALCULATED RISK"
Hmm lets compare the risk, ones own around the clock security detail, bulletproof car and other security measures. Now us the people the regular folk that are being exposed to missiles, rocks, Molotov cocktails and other more lethal attacks. This seems to be a one way "Calculated Risk" which knowing who makes these calculations , does not surprise us. After another bloody attack with loss of life, these same calculated people will come to pay a empathy visit and then will be on their way, to make another calculated one way decision.

12. Right #10 - We must take back our country
This dreadful gov't has wrapped itself in a legal cocoon and amoral - even treasonous - decisions that seem to be dictated by outside forces (mainly the anti-Israel US State Dept.).
The Israeli people have had more than enough. But no one seems to know how to organize us. We can't just go wandering around protesting. We have no authority to call for new elections.
We re looking for leadership. It can't be that there is NO leadership. Even Bibi (who used to be rather active) is hamstrung by inertia and self-absorption. Our frustration is enormous.

14. to#12
Thanks Millie for your post. I read every day the frustration but also read opinions that stay for a new govt. Problem in Israel is that any small mistake in politics (as the gift of gaza for arabs) can turn is something really dangerous (quassams, Lebanon war, etc).

Given the political common denominator of most of the talkbackers here in YNET, they are doing a remarkable job of convincing the convinced by talking to themselves like patients in the "closed ward"

why you wrote that? Are you agreed with Barak and Olmert? Are you happy about Sedrot? about terror attacks in Jerusalem? do you agree with the results of Winogrand's report? do you see any change of peace with terror PLO and holocaust denials as Abbas or Hammas? do you see any chance of pecae with people wanting only the destruction of Israel and not the construction of a land? can you please, please xplain me what was the result of the gaza gift? do you think if arabs could have gotten more mortal weapons they would not have already used them to kill any single jew living in Israel or abroad? Olmert's position is the only one that would give peace in Isarel? do you really trust arabs? I read that arabs march in TAU with arabs flags, that people in Jerusalem put hizballah and hammas flags....I really would like an explanation from you to get the reality in detail...

OK MIchael, I will wait for you in the "closed ward" when rockets from Judea and Samaria as well as from Gaza target Haifa as Hizballahs' in the 2nd. Lebanon war. It seems that Sedrot and Ashkelon are realy far far far away from Haifa...not geographically...

That you are either a self hating jew or just another brainwashed, ignorant muslim living in Haifa with aspirations of Israel relinquishing its sacred land.
