He is a preacher and as such he was preaching to his congregation that their country was reaping the seeds of of their violent past. That is why Jeremiah Wright's sermons are not controversial there, to say the least, and that is why Obama gave his stump speech in 2002, because he was already "preaching to the converted". It wouldn't matter if Saddam were the Devil himself. Obama would have knocked the US government policy. Had he served in the US Senate at the time, things would have been a whole lot different. Obama is no clairvoyant, and the fact that you believe he has "principled judgment" at this point, it only goes to show that you've been duped and simply believe what you want to believe.

By his participation and donations for the last twenty years, he has not only supported but promoted this preacher in the world's eyes. Normal people who hear such twisted and slanderous language would get up from their seats and leave or even more, object. Instead this man sat silently for twenty years and I would like to say he did nothing but the fact is he made this preacher a national personality. We know what doing nothing is about from the hollacaust. We also know how people went from silent to being the heads of concentration camps. Would he be the type of president to send away the St Louis ship again? No thanks Obama. In fact no thanks to all politicians but especially those who tolerate and promote people who are hate ranting mongers of division.

I am Jewish. When I was yung I looked forward to going away to college where I would meet people from all different backgrounds.
