I stopped watching BBC News a long time ago

So what else is new? BBC has zero credibility as an unbiased purveyor of news about the Middle East. Against the backdrop of reports of the removal of all references to the Holocaust from public school curricula under the pretext of offense to the 'tender 'ensitivities' of Muslims,' this atrocity completes the picture of what has become of Great Britain: a spineless culture of political correctness on a quick spiral into insignificance.

They are part of the problem. Their reporting is causing incitement to cause harm to Jews around the world. Can we sue for this?

I drive an hour every morning to work during the war. I listened to the BBC broadcast every morning off my satellite radio. I will not complain about what words the reporters used or whether they showed their bias one way or another. One morning that I heard the top of the hour broadcast from 8am to 9 pm I am complaining on who was interviewed. 8:00 - 8:28. Either updates/reports and many many interviews with Lebanese fighters, civilians politicians. 8:28 - 8:30. Interview with Israeli solders. 8:30 - 9:00 News and interviews with Lebanese. This is biased.

I saw a great deal of coverage and apart from presenters being "career advancing argumentative", there were no structural or fundamental bias in any way. However the feedback email's and phone call's in to the Beeb demonstrated how educated the British public were to the situation. Rocket after rocket incoming on Israel from Lebanon, and the government infiltrated by Hizbullah, what choice do Israel have but to respond?. Israel has a HUGE amount of support from the british public, the media distort this. But "hey ho", given yesterday's developments with regard to Basra I would expect the next confrontation with Lebanon to have been brought forward, and I hope (we hope) that you will have a great deal of support with the Iran issue, good luck. 75 ft below ground, rock, earth and steel, use what you need to, 'well.... let the yank's do that one', with the crap the Russians sold, all should get through fine. The British public should not be paying for the BBC, particularly as they do not represent the real news, but only what they project as the news.

The BBC has become a mouthpiece for anyone who wants to slander Israel and the US... Period ! It ceased to be the Allied mouthpiece against the Nazis and communism long ago... The BBC's reports on the 2006 war were biased against Israel in the mainstream BBC output as well - it's not as if it was any better in English! Well done to BBC Watch!

...out of our government, relations between our countries will improve. The awful social anarchy of the 1960's has taken a terrible toll on British society.

The BBC is like some US news outlets in that the people reporting the news (it's been shown in studies) are very left of center. Haven't got the faintest idea why, but the left seems to have aligned itself with the Palestinians and the Islamists. So, the news gets skewed, in many news organizations, to favor the Palestinians & the Islamists. What these news organizations DO NOT like is also very clear once you've read their publications for a while, or listened to their news reports. They don't like most of the West, at least they don't like the West's non-lefties. They don't like the UK, US, Australia (sometimes), Israel(always) & the US(always). Too bad about the BBC because I do enjoy many of their programs. I just have to keep in mind the bias they have while watching any program they produce. I feel bad for those in the UK who MUST, BY LAW, PAY for the BBC. It would 'stick in my craw' to have to pay to support the BBC.
