That although I positively dislike Mr. Wilders and would probably not like his film, I would fight for his right to show the film. There should be no exceptions to free speech, bad ideas sink on their own weight. This of course includes the holocaust denying speeches which is made illegal in some parts of the world. Muslims are the topic of the movie, they said and do these things, this is who they are, Muslims are by far the most dangerous element in this world today, their primitive religion is a cancer that needs to be shown for what it is. Everyone, especially the bleeding heart liberals must see this.

I found nothing objectionale about the movie which I watched before it was removed from the Web. It had someone reading passages from the Koran, naming the sutra and verses. Then it showed scenes from modern times of how people were acting in response to those verses. I checkedmy own copy of the Koran and found the verses translated as they were read in the movie. If Muslims choose to act violently, and base their actions on the Koran's teachings, what do they expect?

My friend, you have touched on the real point of sensitivity to this film. What "official Islam" fears most is the disaffection of average, especially young, Muslims. They don't give a damn about infidels watching the film (or other criticisms) they are afraid of Muslims watching the film. I know many Muslims who have abandoned Islam in disgust. I have read about Iranian youth similarly affected as well as reports from Iraq rejecting the carnage & totalitarianism of Islam. The real importance of the film is not just to wake up infidels to the threat but to, as you put it, a wake up call to many young Muslims. Let's hope that this is not the last film of this nature.

IF the Muslims rejects the actions of radical islam -- then that will mean that the Muslims ARE rejecting the Koran.
